If Simmons is the defensive coach

does that mean that we also have an attacking coach? I must admit I can't get my head around this NFL approach to the game, with difensive coaches, offensive coaches, head coach…But let's say we have an attacking coach, who would that be, Sheensy :unamused: ?? I just don't see us being that clever 10 meters out from the opponent's try line..

Sheens said earlier in the year that we dont have coaches for different aspects of the game, he royce and co all share the roles. So they say!

Last night on Tactics Sheens stated that Royce is coaching attack and Gentle defence with him supervising both.

It would explain why our attack has become less cohesive whilst our defence has improved :slight_smile:

Because this issue has been discussed to death. Its well known, it was even published in the China Daily, that the defensive duties were taken off Royce two years ago. Lets move on.

Okay the China Daily bit isnt true but the rest is.

He also hands the interchange card to the guy who hands it to the NRL official…..It suddenly dawned on me as to why it takes so long for us to interchange a bloke at the Panfers game last week....

Yeah I think they said at the start of 2009 that Royce was now Assistant Coach instead of Defence coach.
