I am not surprised you are loving on Rankin even though he dropped everything in sight last week, Rankin stank it up last week yet you are willing to punt JAC this week even after scoring a freak try, you can have your opinion but I will stick to mine.

His attempted tackle was atrocious, and almost cost us. Or how should say his lack of an attempt. Defence is nowhere near up to fg standard. Counter with Rankin's try saving tackle against the Cowboys.

851,Rankin had a few mates last week that also stank,JAC scored a freak try today,if we played any of the top 4 today he would of been tackled and buried by better defense,warriors d wasn't that crash hot today…

Obviously if Teddy is fit, JAC will miss out. Rankin is now our goal kicker and back up no9, so it stands to reason JAC will miss out. Taylor is not going to change his ideas on how we play our no9 with one game to go.

I think JAC should have been in the team from round one, but as Rankin is the back up 9 and goal kicker he has to be in the team and wing is the only vacancy. If it was round two, I would go with JAC and change up my ideas on the no9, but it is the last round

tiigers2005,Rankin is a seasoned professional who has played NRL and ESL,he is predominantly a half who can play various positions that is why he was recruited as a valuable utility player, this season he has played mainly on the wing which is an unfamiliar position for him,however he can fill in most spots at the spur of the moment as a fillin when needed…to answer your question,I would pick him over JAC every game because he is safe,JAC may become safe and valuable with more time even though he is a mixed bag as you say ATM...

Of course you would look for JAC and his speed if you made a break….its the overall value during the 80 minutes of a game that is in question more than raw talent..

Both Rankin and JAC can be a bit hit and miss. Rankin puts in big effort, but his lack of speed was shown up a couple of times today when he was beaten on the outside. JAC scored a length of the field try, but put in a couple of very poor tackle attempts. He seems a yard or 2 quicker with the ball in hand, than when he is chasing someone that made a break
