They were always going to have to score plenty of points to beat the Warriors, and although there were a few nail biting minutes generally speaking, I think it was a great win.
With a fair share of the ball a controlled error count, and with possibly the best attacking half in the game the second half resurgence by the Warriors was not that surprising.
Credit to the coach and the players for a much needed first up win. We go into the Manly game with some confidence and hopefully give ourselves a good chance of notching up two important home ground wins.

Lets not get too far ahead of ourselves fellas…A week is a long time in football..Manly will be stinging from the inept display to start the season...Wests Tigers need to back up the good performance from yesterday....A thing we have failed to do consistently for 3 seasons...

The test for Taylor this season is to get the gap between our best and worst performances to narrow...not an easy task with such a youthful side...if he can it will be the making of him and the Wests Tigers....

pretty much - this honestly feels like de ja vu.

when we beat souths in 2014 and dogs a little time later. both perfect opportunities to launch our season but instead we crumbled (mostly due to injuries after the dogs).

Same with 2015, annihilating the dogs and souths again from memory

No worries Happy Lol. :wink: The boys on the float ( Mario Fenech, Wendell Sailor, Nigel Vagana, Paul Langmack) looked happy and were having a ball! :smiley:
