If we had a player cleanout

Who would you keep, who would you move on, who would you sign? Or would you keep the same squad and get a new coach. If you did get a new coach who would it be?

For me i would ship Heighno, Lote, Ayshford, Reddy, Iosefa and Moltzen

Would Resign Bell, Groat (as long as on min wage)Utai, extend Farah early, Grant 1year deal

If we got a new coach i would like Steve Folkes or Mick Potter, with Gentle as assistant coach.
 
Rhino ,Moltzen and offer Lote an ambassador role within the club dealing with kids

But it would depend who we could pick up as replacements
 
ATM the only ones I'd let go are Heighno, Lote and Moltz, maybe Reddy too.

I was prepared to see the back of Ben Murdoch last year but he's put in the hard yards in the off season and is playing great this year. I wanna see Groat do the same thing. He has looked sluggish and lazy this year and unless he comes out firing next year I'd let him go.

Ayshford is having an off year, but it's the first time in his 3 years he's not performing. Would give him another chance - he's been played everywhere this season which could be contributing to it.

folkes is a wierd option imo… if i want a new coach, i want him to have to do nothing with the club previously.. that's why i dont want gentle or simmons. BUT folkes was with us for a couple of years which isn't that many and results show we made top 4 those two years. NOT saying he was directly responsible for those results but he does deserve some credit, esp. for the defense.

i think, just like many on here, toddy will make a great coach one day, but if he wants to coach the tigers, i hope for his sake he spends some time as an assistant under another coach at another team, then im sure he would love to come back at the tigers.

player cleanout?: umm, i would give miller a better go before asking for humble, iosefa, utai, lote and meaney to leave and buying a better halfback... we are a couple of props short... however, i think heighno, moors are the only ones i would get rid of.... big question is blair though, havent quite formed an opinion on him

do we need a cleanout??? it's difficult imo, benji and farah are too close to the playing group and i think this will effect them mentally... however, imo it is better for their career to play under a new coach and a different brand of footy. will we see one? HIGHLY doubt it
 
Its easy enough to say we should ship players out, but we still have a 25 man squad to be filled. Definitely agree that Lote has reached the end with us, Ayshford will improve, Moltzen probably needs to move on as well.

As for coaches, I thought when we picked up Georgallis that it pointed towards a succession plan.
 
It's a hard question to address, because each time a club has a player cleanout, they really need to have some firm ideas on who to replace those players with, how much money they will have up their sleeve, and whether they can afford the players they want.

Right now I can't think of anyone I'd replace Sheens with.

As far as players go, I would not be disappointed if Heighno, Lote, Moltzen, Humble, Utai and Moors are let go. I believe the Tigers have enough junior talent coming through to replace these players without resorting to spending mega dollars on anyone in particular.
 
If we had to let go of players i agree with most,lote,heino,moltz,and ellis is already going… but i would keep reddy and uate at least for another year.

Wouldn't want our club paying players out so anyone contracted unless we can unload them should stay.

Coach...well sheens is contracted but if we were to have a new coach...Id keep sheens as a coaching director overseeing all operations.It would have to be someone prepared to work with sheens so maybe payten will be ready
