I'm calling it now

If we’re not going to make it, I’d rather us bow out in the next couple of rounds rather than the last game. I’ll never forget the anger and disappointment of round 26, 2016.

I’m still feeling that type of anger from last Friday night.

Almost a week on and I still can’t get over how tepid we were with so much at stake

Yeah I’m with you on that Steve. It’s almost unforgivable and it probably wouldn’t be so bad if this was the first and only time it ever happened, but our history is steeped in this sort of meek surrender when a finals berth is possible. It’s almost like they don’t want to be there in September!

I was hoping with an almost entirely different squad that it wouldn’t happen again, but I have to admit I had that sinking, almost knowing feeling that it would, even before a ball was kicked last Friday night. If I had bet my entire life savings on us losing I would’ve felt completely at ease about doing so - that speaks volumes I reckon because I am not a betting man!

so we've been thrown a bone by the warriors…......

lets see what Tigers team turns up tomorrow night. Personally, i have no idea which team will front!

Usually we lose when it’s to a bad team and or playing for a spot in the 8 when the seasons on the line.

Sooo last night we won but as soon as we play a game to a rubbish team and a win would mean making it into the 8 we would choke it.

We have had so manly “9th place” teams over the years from this problem 04 09(perfect example of this) and 2016\. Contolled our destiny all those years and screwed up!! We will keep win this year until we control our own desinry too!
