Sounds like Timbo could be punted upstairs. Still on the payroll, sitting in a smoking jacket in a Smokey Dawson recliner, pipe in mouth as he passes on his pearls of wisdom to Matty Parish: "Have you considered young Sironen at fullback?" "I'll keep it mind Tim…"

…and nothing would change....

Depends if Matt Parish is strong enough to ignore Sheens for long enough until Tim packs up his thermos and goes back to Townsville.

Well, youre assuming Parish has the job, which he doesnt yet….and,
if you believe that then I give you more credit than you deserve
Sheens uses other to save himself....havent you been listening?

Parish is probably the only coach we can afford if Sheens remains on the payroll. I don't think anyone really can tell what the end result will be. Something will happen, life will go on, we'll field a team in 2013.

I was just sitting here thinking about the possibility of another coach coming in and i literally felt shivers run up my spine and a surge of electricity run through my entire body. To just imagine a team without a boys club, where players get dropped for poor performance, players picked in the proper positions, replacing one injured player without a 4 position reshuffle and no wingers on the bench, its just too good to be true. If and when Sheens gets shown the door, my enthusiasm will sky rocket

Cmon you spineless board, do the right thing tomorrow. Not just for the club but for the fans. Everyone involved with the club either playing, supporting or other could use a massive breath of fresh air

I'M EXCITED!!!!

i totally agree

the longer this plays out, the more im liking the idea of payten as coach.
i think he'd do the club wonders, both on and off the field.

the reason brown didnt last at saints was because he played with most of the players he coached so payten at this stage wouldn't be a good choice we need a new broom someone not yet aligned to the club

i disagree. brown and payten are two different blokes with different abilities.
payten imo has the authority of the players he played with. he was a senior player. they respect him. brown was one of the boys.. i dont think payten ever fell into this category, he seems alot more level headed and mature.. i could be wrong though…

Sheens needs to go. As long as he is here he can still destabilise the club, especially as a coaching director. If an incoming coach performs, he'll share in the praise, and if he fails, Sheens will throw him under the bus.

He has the club in a squirrel grip and even though they are wising up to this, it's still dangerous to have him involved in the club. I'm not familiar with the clubs financials so I am unsure as to whether we can march Sheens. I'd means test his statement that he'll step down for missing the eight.

As long as they play for the new coach, earn their positions, play for their team mates, be the player you wanna play nex to….play with pride and attitude, dont dog it ....unlike weve seen recently and obviously with the first grade squad

Its hopefully a fresh start, new attitude....I want to support this team again, not be fed up & disenchanted with players playing for themselves, players [automatically edited] at each other onfield, players showing self preservation as opposed to taking one for the team….I wanna be proud of my team....they dont have to win to do that, they just have to show theyre having a real go

Couldn't have put it better, i'm with you, just want them in there and competing!!
