Im not convinced

Confident or not - This game is the deciding point for me of our future direction .... Do we break the 3 game win hoodoo ? If so that shows this team is on the right trajectory for the rest of the year.

If we fall flat on our ass and come up short of the result then to me we haven't truly turned the corner and are subject to the same mediocrity we have faced over previous years.

Let's get it done lads, show the RL world we should be at very least a top eight team ✔️

I actually wish players were sin-binned more.

What do Parra care that Laulili* is banned next week.

*for some reason I thought Api was binned, not Laulili. Did not mean to bring confusion on this one.
Players that milk penalties claiming to be injured then spring to there feet should be sent off for assessment or something to stop this display of faking.

What concerns you, specifically?

TH. I have no concerns at all. But to answer you in kind - the space btwn the EARS.

But you and me have something in common. And I believe it's a win win there.

Great question TH. I hope I was able to answer your question - a little at least.

If the space between our ears 👂 is on song - we have a fighting chance. And we live to play another day.

Lots of moving parts between your ears X, running like an expensive watch.

Newcastle are over achieving without their star players.
Our blokes are struggling but fighting hard enough to collect wins.
We’ve had 2 good efforts and 2 average ones yet could be 4 from 4.
This squad is different from other years. We can’t accurately prejudge using empirical evidence.
I think Newie are due an off performance given their depleted roster. We need to be good enough to take advantage of that and I think we are.
Were without several of our star players too,who will hopefully return next week
Forwards have held up pretty well, and Madden had done a great job at the steering wheel
Both teams to day will get better with reinforcements, but with home ground advantage and a challenging draw over next month... its a must win for Tigers

How about now? ;-)

Love it. TH. Put it this way - I am convinced we are a better team than the last 10 years. I am convinced Benji is responsible for this.

But I'm not convinced with the part where we let them party in the last 15 mins.

So how about now? Hmmmm.

I'm mostly happy for all our long suffering fans and their children.

I am totally convinced - that this week will be beautiful for them. And you. Reading this.

One day at a time.

This feels different, feel like we've turned a corner and can compete and express ourselves in both attack and defense. Confidence is oozing! Depth is incredible too. You can tell the group is super tight. It's all the ingredients of a very successful season....BUT having been scarred too many times, I'm still feeling slightly anxious....I'm loving it but well aware a week can be a long time in Rugby League if you don't turn up in your next game and get your pants pulled down.

Benji knows all this though. He'll be keeping a lid on things. Love how he was bitterly disappointed in that last 20 mins with standards dropping etc. These are great signs.

LONG MAY IT CONTINUE!! Come on Tiiiiiige's!

Our record playing at Campbelltown v Leichhardt since 2000 -

Campbelltown
Games: 100
Wins: 39
Losses: 60
Draws: 1

Leichhardt
Games: 102
Wins: 57
Losses: 44
Draws: 1

I hope we improve that this Sunday ...

Dude why does it have to be 'Verses"?? Go and look at all the big and important must win late season games we have lost at Leichhardt Oval throughout our history. It's no fortress. We have bottled it there time and time again.

Rabbitohs 2007 L
Cronulla 2008 L
Melbourne 2012 L
Canberra 2016 L
St George 2018 L
Cronulla 2019 L
Cowboys 2025 L

These are all matches we have lost that would have either guaranteed finals footy or needed to win to keep chances alive. I don't want our club to be defined by comparing a poor home record at LO against a slightly worse home record at Campbelltown.
