I've gone for the Tigers for as long as I can remember but today I officially hang up my boots as a fan. I'm not putting up with this anymore.

Feel free to join me, most of you probably know deep down that following this club is a serious waste of your energy, time and money.

Spare me the "true fans stay loyal through the thick and thin" bs - I don't care. I've wasted so much energy caring about this club over the last 11-12 years of pathetic (to say the least) football and I think at some point you have to know when to cut your losses.

I can't believe its actually come to this but here we are.

EDIT: I don't enjoy doing this, I don't advocate for giving up when the going gets tough, but I do advocate for calling it a day when you realise you're being taken for a ride by management that only cares about dollars and cents and not winning games.

You don't have to announce your departure. Shit posting aside, I feel ya mate. Been down the same thought path the last decade. The club is a form of emotional abuse. Unfortunately for many fans they appear to love the club more than anyone actually involved at the club and its in your DNA. The fact for 10 years they've deliberately played without a half back tells you everything you need to know. They couldn't careless if the club wins or loses. But you'll be back, you wont be able to help it. I just wish people at the club felt the same way. To them its just a pay check.

I feel it.

Sometimes I think we would all be better off if we got turfed out. And even more often I think we deserve to go. I just don't see it ever turning around.

100% but its just so draining. I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship that's all one way
 
Quite sure the team is done. So, we're just catching up at this stage. And it's only round 2. 😂
I don't know why I'm laughing. Probably to cope with a shit team.
 
Hang in there mate...we have a host of kids coming through.

I know it is rough....my son is 12 and all he knows is losing.

I have been a supporter for almost 5 decades...I am used to it. But I feel very sad seeing my son have to get let down every week. At school age, you don't want to have to face up every Monday supporting the perpetual losers.

I just hope he does not give up on them.

For a while I hoped deep down that the club would be dissolved. Once you're at that stage on fandom I think its basically over
 
I could never support another club but that does not mean i don't get very annoyed with what we get served up.Two disgraceful performances in a row with a decent side is inexcusable
 
It really is not good for your health.
I wish I followed another club because they have thrown all their eggs in Sheens basket and at this point he seems to be living in a fantasy if he thinks that rubbish is an improvement.
 
Lee and Pascoe don't care they know there'll be 10 mugs lining up for everyone that's had enough.
I have zero expectations these days really numb to the whole WTs experience, very difficult to justify spending my hard earned when I can sit at home and watch their feebleness

When the penny drops and you realise the club couldn't care less about the fans, they more or less despise us, god forbid we voice an opinion and they'll call us bullies for actually wanting a winning team, it becomes a lot easier when you realise the club exists as a job circle jerk. Wouldn't it be nice for them to come out and say they want to win for their decade long struggling fans, you never hear more then a murmur about any care for the fans.
