I really don't see the need for such a pessimistic view for 2016\. Forgetting the Robbie dramas, Taylor criticism and Salary Cap crisis, I can't see we are any worse off on our Ins And Outs and you could make an argument that we'll improve

Looking at our losses among regular NRL contributors:
Galloway, replaced by Joel Edwards, not a big drop off
Patty Richards, replaced by lots of options, best of Rankin, Hunt, Addo-Carr, Hoeter
Robbie & Cherrington, replaced by Cherrington & Ballin (yeah I don't get it either), we drop back but maybe it's offset by the negative impact (?) and increased dominance for our halves (I'm guessing JT is banking on this being a significant lift for the side)
Taupau is no doubt a loss but he mostly came in bursts, but sure we'll miss his impact
Lodge I don't count, he didn't play regularly and only delivered a couple of times
We've signed a lot of fringe players, surely a couple will deliver, which is a lift from the fringe players leaving
No one really made the jump from 20s last year (excluding the halves, year before really), so if any do, it's more upside
Most importantly of all, we are a very young side and almost all will improve, that's a big upside not many sides will have

By the way I'd go with Chris Lawrence as our 2016 skipper

I'm telling you, there's a chance

I big key to 2016 will be if Lawrence and Sironen can go from good NRL backrowers to world class backrowers. IMO both can achieve that and if they do, it changes things a lot.

Accompany that with team harmony and minimal injuries and who knows.

I think they can as well and it would make a massive difference. We also need Brooks and Moses to kick on. There are too many massive improvements required though. It could be a tough year.

As much as Lawrence has improved in the second row i doubt he would start at most clubs and would be lucky to make the bench at the top 6 clubs.to suggest he could be world class is unfair to him and is expecting far to much from him i will be happy if he just gives it his best shot this year and moves on for 2017 or takes a huge pay cut to stay

I think there's a chance we might not come last, but that's about it. Top of the bottom 4 would be a pass given our cattle I think.

There's a chance…Seumana and Sue are primed for good years, as is Sirro. For all the knocks on Brooks last year, statistically he was amongst the better halves. Moses improved for all to see. Tedesco is going to be even better imo and on the whole the team should be better off going into the second year of Taylor's tactics.

We were fairly injury-free last year, so that would need to remain the same for us to have any hope.

I thought today about it though - **who are we better than?** I could only come up with the Titans (although I think Henry will get them to perform better than they should) and potentially the Knights (although I'd think Hodgkinson will win them a few games).

Regardless if I was able to sit through the game against the Cowboys this year, I'll be able to sit through anything 2016 dishes up

Our forward pack is weak compared with the big guns. Our halves will get smoked on the back of really only Woods making metres. We have Ava, Sue and Woods in the middle compare it with say the Cowboys Taumou, Scott, Taumololo. There is no chance we make the 8.
