In your heart of hearts can you see Taylor turning it around?

To be fair to Edwards he was injured last year but before that had played
14 -20 games
13- 23 games
12-19 games
11- 22 games

That isn't yo-yo ing that is just one injured year but the rest consistent first grade

In answer to the question posed in this post, to quote one of the more recent losers in living memory, "Nope. Nope. Nope". Good riddance to both of them.

Thanks boon, good work. Difference between informed and uninformed opinions.

Edwards has played 88 FG games; by comparison Taupau has 66 games and they debuted in the same year (2010). Ava has 63 games and he's still being considered as an "emerging talent".

Fair enough on Edwards, it's only really '15 in which he's struggled for FG time.

A few of our guys are around that same stage - Sironen debuted way back in '12 and has played 57 FG games, Sue & Simona have played 58, Tedesco has played 52, Brooks has played 45, even Naiqama debuted back in 2010 though has only played 47 in that time.
The guts of the team are up around that magic 50 game barrier now, so we need them to start delivering on their potential, especially if they're supplemented by more inexperienced guys this year.

We have a load of young talent in the club, I think it is clear Taylor wants to move on the old and build a team around the new, with generation next calling the shots playing the way Taylor would like.
I think it is possible That the tactic will work, it is gutsy.

If he pulls it off i will give him credit.

I have never wanted him sacked, have just been really underwhelmed so far by both the football and the communication.

My gut feeling though is he is unpopular and doesn't have the command that top coaches demand and get respect for.

We reall havent given ourselves much of a chance since sheens, employing Potter basically for peanuts, and JT a rookie.

I know we are limited in what we can get, but Id be so very interested to see what a top notch coach could do in the same amount of time as taylor

Knights were probably hoping Bennett would have done better. Farah himself said 'Taylor is a great coach'. If Farah's attitude has now changed for the better then the club will have benefited.

Robbie and a few others prob thinks the same Ink.

Ironic.

Unfortunately they don't hire the coach.

Who'd want to be a coach these days, no wonder Muz kicked off so young and it nearly killed Chris Anderson.

Your right CB, Cleary wasn't looking too good either. I think our coach is showing a lot of fortitude under the circumstances and If we want WT to do as well as possible next season we should ALL be getting right behind the coach, board and players!

How is JT a rookie? Hasn't he had teams he coached in the semi finals? He beat the likes of Griffen, now anointed by Gus as the Panther's coach for our gig. I presume I know what you mean though - not a 'top shelf' coach.
