Inglis try or no try?

such a load of crap. the ball was in inglis' hand. HENCE, if robbie purposefully kicked, it is an 8 point try. the ball was in inglis' hand look carefully.

however, robbie, (imo) did not kick it on purpose, inglis tried to put the ball down really fast, and came in contact with robbie's foot. KNOCK ON !

only 2 situations here: knock on or 8 point try. their reasoning is absolute crap.

How do you get an 8 point try? What foul play occurred as or just after Inglis scored?

Do you mean a penalty try? If so, my position is the same - no try or penalty try.

8 point try coz farah kicked at the ball when it was in inglis' hand, then it came out and inglis scored. hence 8 points.

depends on how you look at it, farah accidental or on purpose. knock on or 8 point try.

Everyone whose saying it wasn't a try are obviously delusional. I saw a green light and 4 points were awarded. Not sure what you people were watching 😕

Is this sarcasm?

Don't worry Yoss, i'll revert back to the popular blue-eyed opinion

NSW WERE ROBBED!!! :imp:

Seriously though, the way people are carrying on, you would think NSW were ahead 12-10, not down 12-10 at the time. It didn't cost them the game

I understand the flow of logic there but trailing 10-12 with 7 to go is hugely different from being 10-18 down with less than 5 (after the kick and getting the ball back). In the first case it only takes one line break or dropped bomb and your in front - you can afford to be patient and build something up. In the second case it's pretty much futile and calls for all or nothing plays.

So yes post event it looks less important than it really was. Anyway didn't you earlier say the decision left you bitter? Maintain the rage!

yep… keep it in the minds of everyone, especially the players!!!

The comments (non-comments) was a bad mind-set to place upon the players after the game. I'd be surprised if they turn up to play footy for game 2... Queensland will put 50 on them if they dont move on!!!

For an 8 point try you need the try to be scored; then foul play to occur.

oh really? sorry, i thought an 8 point try is awarded when a try is scored despite a foul.

so ye, either a penalty try or knock on.

also, refs get wrong decisions, it happens, and it happened again. so no problem with that, but harrigan coming out and saying the decision is right is not on.
btw, im not saying that try costed nsw the match, hell i dont even think if it was not awarded, nsw would've won coz nsw's attack was very average.

An 8 point try is given when a foul happens after a try is scored, like sliding in with the knees or something like that. Gibbs gave one away and cost us a semi final birth

It doesnt have to be scored…but it has to be at least certain the try would have been scored bar the foul. This would fit that as well.

QLD robbed!

What an embarrassment. To have that as the try that broke the record. I would not want it on my highlights reel. How would you go explaining that to your kids and grand kids. Shame on the officials.
