Wests Tigers Physiotherapist Peter Moussa provides the latest injury news and updates heading into Round 2 against the St. George-Illawarra Dragons.

After picking up a win in their first match against the Gold Coast Titans, Moussa said only forward Ava Seumanufagai had to be monitored for injury after the game.

"He suffered a concussion in the game so we've got to go through the full concussion protocol," Moussa said. "We'll continue to monitor him throughout the week."

Chris Lawrence, who was ruled out of the match with a groin strain, has been named to make his return this week, with Moussa confident of his inclusion in the side.

"It was just a minor strain," he said.

"He'll undergo a fitness test later this week but we're confident he'll play."

Nofoaluma on track for Round 4…back in full training...great stuff S & C...

Getting some conflicting info in regards to Nofoaluma

Last week it was mentioned Round 3

Glad for him to wait until he is 100%

sounds like he's going to be working up to match fitness, and depending on how many games in reggies he needs to get up to speed it could be a shorter or a delayed return..

Moussa sounds more cautious in his reports this year, which I don't mind at all. Sounds like the club is no longer prepared to rush players back which is a very good thing.
