From training ..Twal, Eisenhuth. Ronchow smashing it in the forwards…Watene-Zelezniak, Reynolds and Brooks in the backs..

Matulino training well but his knee is an on going concern..

Lolohea not quite where they want him to be fitness wise...

Liddle looking at about Rd 4

all the new recruits very professional in their work...

Ok thanks. That tells us a lot. Good info.

That's a worry about Mats knee. Might have Twal start with Packer and have Mats come off the bench throughout the season.

Well if there is a question mark hanging over Matulino, he's not worth risking at the beginning of the season. Start with Packer and Twal, with Sue and Grant as interchange. Felise and Rochow are there for depth too.

No..it's not that..just needs to be managed..Matulino will be right come Rd 1..

more fantasy
We cannot control players…_& their managers_...we can only control what we do.
Players and agents can and do instigate their own dealings but i seriously doubt we are at top of any of their lists

Maybe … but it should be our goal Ink

NIce work Geo.

From what I hear MWZ is no bolter. He'll be fit fast, and strong on the other wing - and may make Nofo look pedestrian speedwise.

I hope Lolohea comes good. He could be anything with a bit of wind up space.

ive been told both milne and marsters have been training exclusivley at right center, so i dont think they'll be the center combo. kev naquima likely left center.

But Russell said Lolohea's fitness isn't a concern

I still shudder at the thought of Kev in the centres. He needs to be on his game from day dot or punted. No leeway for him to 'improve' , He can do that in the black and white.

Completely agree Gallagher Kev is a terrible centre, i feel sorry for any winger that has him defending inside because he will be constantly marking 2 while Kev goes charging through the line waving his arms around like the demented robot from Lost in Space.

he wouldnt be my first choice but i didnt feel that he rushed as much when at left center. that seemed to be more taylors coaching then anything. with clearys slide defence it wasnt as noticable.

That is what I thought about when reading Geo's post.
Might explain why we are hearing fullbacks being linked to us.

AND he is still saying it!

Could we see Fonua in the Centres with MWZ the Winger?
Is there a chance Milne starts in reserves or will Marsters be starting his progression to the backrow from round 1…

That's really weird. Both Marsters and Milne are good enough to play first grade.
