Robby just stated he would like to see Brooks and Moses playing first grade now.
Considering the season is over I think it's a good idea , does that mean Marshall warms the Bench again.

Don't think either of them can due to second tier salary cap issues

If that's what it takes. Future is not with Marshall. No point taking the ex wife out for dinner when there's talent waiting for you at home.

Brooks 7, Moses 14 perhaps? Moses could be used much in the way Marshall was first used. He really just floated around the field. Issue though is dead unless we get exemptions.

Quite right, we need an exemption like with Matt Moylan. Putting brooks up would have us copping a fine.

I think it might be worse than that, pretty sure Panthers faced loss of competition points if it wilfully breaching against the NRL rules in playing Moylan.

My biggest concern for Moses is his size. He's tall but skinny, just hasn't grown into his body yet. If he gets thrown in against men he could face a similar experience to what Benji had during his early years. I would bring him off the bench mid to late next year for a bit of experience before throwing him the five-eighth jersey in 2015\. Brooks could handle it size-wise.

Size is a lot easier to put on at NRL level than people think. If he doesn't sustain any massive injury I suspect he'll be over 80 by the start of next season. He's probably already put on 3-5kg from his listed weight in February assuming he's been put into a program that's aimed at conditioning skinny guys for NRL. whatever that is..

Brooks has been playing NSW cup to get him ready for the step up. Potter won't drop Sirro so I guess Curtis will move to the backrow.

Can't see Moses getting a run.

is that the only analogy you could come up with?

and what do we have to lose? our comp points mean NOTHING we aint going anywhere finishing 15th is no difference to 14\. providing the eels stay in last

Pretty bad look just to play a kid. Think about it from the clubs perspective, sponsors etc.

Playing for a win still means something to most fans, even at this point.

but in the future would look great for the club having games under their belt and starting next year not having to worry about debut games etc. Sheens stupidly threw kids in big games to early.

he threw Lui in on a MUST win game against the eels to make the finals
he threw BMM in against the roosters leading 15-2 and made the first error of the game that turned the game
he was also going to start Mcdonnell in the grand final if Richards wasn't fit/.

let's get them some first grade games in games that don't mean anything out of the way first

How many nsw games has Brooks had? I would like to see Moses get a fair few nsw games under his belt before hitting first grade. Like what Des did Ruth DCE and look how quickly he adapted.

My biggest worry is rushing them in. They gotta be mentally ready aswell in order for them to develop best and shake off the first game nerves best etc.

Fair point, but I think real fans will be more interested in our future more than seeing how far we can get off the bottom in a busted season. Bring on the young'ns. Won't happen without exemptions tho, dont see it happening, which means we'll be starting all over again next year.
