Ipswich jets would beat us.

The Jillaroos would have us covered as well. Surely their would not be as much in-fighting and cattiness in their group as what we have seen in the last 2years at our club. It really is embarrassing when you look at it like that.

Yeah I think every fan knows that 2016 is a total write off aswell. Hopefully we learn our structures/plays and buy well for 2017

Your second sentence says it all. At least one, maybe two, of the team are playing for themselves rather than the team. It's the job of the coach to correct that.

Take out Parcell, they are an average team… If Newton can rally his troops to simply move up and hit the ball runner, Newcastle will win this!

Just like most agreed that there was no way Hayne was making a roster in the NFL.

Don't speak in absolutes dude it just blows up in your face. I reckon it'd work with the right team. Certainly need the players to pull it off.

One certainty is that Billy McConachie is a machine. Where did this bloke come from?

The Knights have them figured out. If a NSW cup team can work out how to play against it, i'm sure NRL sides could.

North Queensland

Was thinking that too, i think it would work in the NRL, the walker bros will be signed up by a smart team soon and we will see for ourselves whether or not it will work.

Have them figured out, yet will lose this match convincingly…

Not sure hey. Like Gould said the NRL level players are probably over coached to the point where they probably couldn't. This Jets side is a bit of a perfect storm of coachable tough bush players and young talents.

I wouldn't assume the Walker's wouldn't be able to produce at NRL level though but the exact style of the Ippy side is probably not going to happen simply because the players capable of breaking the mold aren't going to be athletically gifted enough at that level.

Taylor sacked Fletcher. Sacked Kimmorley. Sacked Matt Cameron…

Maybe he's actually gonna nab the Walker's as his assistants?

How that bloke wasn't sent off for that kinghit is beyond a joke. Yet they will send some poor bastard off for an accident at the drop of a hat: Kade Snowden on Ray Thompson a year or 2 back springs to mind.

One of the commentators were just asked which club would suit walker bros coaching style and he responded "wests tigers"

Yep, any team would beat us only because it's the thing you say on here to make you look like you have all the answers. It's the way of the Wests Tigers fan, right?

Ipswich well deserved winners but once again the refs have been spoilers in the result.

I thought Newcastle scored a good try midway through the second half only for it to be called back as a forward pass. Gee lets be honest worse passes have been let go many, many times.

That try would have made the game very interesting.

Tony archer would back the refs all day but as always, ref decisions are a toss of the coin. He would have backed them if the try was scored, too. Frustrating. Frustrating frustrating. As a Tigers supporter I should be used to it.
