IS IT TIME FOR SHEENS TO MOVE ON ?

i dont know if its been mentioned and if it has i appologise.

but thank god this forum doesnt pick our coaches.

i think it was only 2 years ago around the same time as now (give or take a few rounds), Sheens was under the pump again from the forum and media for the poor performances.. the number one person who this forum wanted was a coach by the n ame of Coach Steve Kearney…. now this coach has won just two of his past 18 games and looks set to loose the next two with the eels facing Manly and Newcastle. Steve was wanted by many WT fans all based off a handful of results (mind you Bennett was the main man behind those results)
people need to look beyond a few rounds,
We have started slowly. yup as we have every year since we have been the WT..

Haha….another know nothing that looks at a coaches results with one team and automatically assumes the same would happen if he were here with WTs players

Very true INK..

not saying it would happen ink.. but the fact is his reputation of his past results are not what they look like on face value.. People wanted him here for the fact he won the WC etc. With out looking who was behind the coaching.

In hindsight Im glad we didnt get Kearney. *Edit(Not that we went for him)
I'd love to see this team and especially Benji & the backs, under a coach who loves a big strong forward pack…10 years is long enough in this game

First I want to say I respect what Tim Sheens has done for the WT. I don't mind if he stays or leaves the coaching post. I hope he becomes coaching director. But when will the diehard Sheens lovers realize that our team is stagnant and a change is needed to freshen things up.

No no no no no,I'm glad sheens is our coach.I may not always agree with his selections or his use of a back on the bench, that only plays minimal minutes, but i trust his judgement. The coach rightfully or wrongfully is always the one blamed, but they can only do so much & once the players run out on the field it's largely out of their hands.

It's only round 4\. I don't think it's the coaches fault why we are currently getting dominated, but our fowards really need to step up and harden up. Then the backs can ride the freedom of good go foward.

No.
I for one do not understand all of the selection decisions he makes but I don't pretend that my selection preferences are better than Sheens decisions.
I have no doubt that the failure of the team to win games has more to do about deviating from Sheens game plan than anything else.
As I have heard Tim say several times in post-match interviews, "the playmakers must respect the ball."
