Is Joel Reddy a smokey for 2014

Joel is a big skillful player but didn't perform last year (neither did most for the Tigers top grade). I was wrapped when we first signed him.
He has in the past played fullback, wing, centres, Lock and 5/8.
Could he be a smokey for next seaon?
I remember him running benji down a few years ago - Let's hope Potter is a s strict as we are hearing

Umm you sure it was him? Pretty sure Ben Smith him down.

I'm pretty sure barring injury reddy won't play 1st grade

He was a waste of cap last year and because Sheens was silly enough to give him 2 years we are still stuck with him as no other club wants him.If he plays first grade next year i can only think it would be due to many injuries in first grade.

Yep, it was Ben Smith who ran down Benji. Reddy has proved ineffective thus far and I don't see that changing next year. He is pretty good in the air and that's about it.

Reddy was jerked around all year by Sheens,left wing,left centre,right wing,right centre,fullback and backrow sometimes 2 or 3 moves a game,Reddy is a good player,and if left at right centre he would shine,he covered Grothe in defence for years,he can tackle.

yup i agree, im not a good judge of a players' capability and maybe he does have deficiencies, but your point is very valid too. just like most other players, i dont mind him getting another shot under potts.

I don't rate him anymore but hope you're right. How he didn't get first crack at fullback when teddy went down is anyone's guess

Yeah considering he came to us with reputation as a great defensive centre, his performances were disappointing to say the least. Wish he could play more like his dad!

he was good for parra in 09\. but i cant see him playing much first grade in 2013
