Is Taylor now redundant ?

I think it wAs clear that et was better suited to an edge as it meant we lacked a middle metre eater. He has good lateral movement and great experience. The pack look much more balanced just neeed a strike bavkrower and 80 min hooker.

We have an 80 minute hooker for 2018 - his name is Liddle.

Just need the back rower Larry.

Hopefully you are right with liddle. At least Mcilwrick is a reasonable backup….a good off season should have him better prepared.....he's got better playing big minutes lately.

If he stays and Woods backflips, the pack will be overflowing. Where do you fit them all?

Yea, I heard of this situation before. It's a horrible situation facing a lot of teams like the Cowboys, easts, Broncos, Sharks and even the Storm…. It's called

DEPTH!

Your centers, fullbacks, hookers, wingers I would be a little worried. Your front row you cannot have enough depth. I think big guys like playing with other big guys. You either have a Hindmarsh, a Ellis or a Fulton, etc who are just tackle machines and take a stack of hits OR you have people who get rested from being a battering ram. We need depth.

He said himself that the dr's recommended he stay in Sydney. And he also said he hopes to have something sorted by the end of the week. He'll stay, and will most likely be appointed captain.

x2\. He is the furthermost thing from a liability in this team, he's looking like the guy to lead this pack around next year. I am certain that IC will wrap up a deal for him.

He is one of my first picks. Gives his all every week 100% committed. If each player performed to their best as be does each week we'd be in the finals. I hope he is captain next year - a player who leads by example & commands respect.

:exclamation: No we still need his never give up attitude ie play for the full 80\. Ivan said thats why he got Josh Reynolds to change the player/cultural attitude. Never give up, after all isnt that why the Storm have been at the top for so long?

I think he is dead right there. We need grit badly. The Balmain Tigers had it, the Western Suburbs Magpies lacked it in some players (but sometimes our guys would find it). The WT got it in Gareth Ellis and Liam Fulton, but we need that now, that Greg Bird, Beau Scott, James Graham grit. don't like many of these guys but they bruised when they tackled.

Reynolds is a player who has it. Whatever his faults he is 100% there for the team and will boost our attitude. We have survived off flukes and miracle guys like Benji Marshall.Time we go the hard yards and play solid.

Storm also have three of the best players in the history of the game. They drive the culture through performance and demanding the same from the others.

He would be my Hooker next year , he needs to be in this team next year and so do other that's why I would make him Hooker

He isn't a hooker. He would do the job defensively and maybe even distributing the ball but I doubt he has a dynamic running game out of dummy half which we need.

Liddle to me is our long term hooker but he needs to work on his game. He can be backed up by McIlwrick.

I'd say it's time to let Taylor go.

If we have lost McQueen and Taylor then bye bye 2018.

Was McQueen ever going to make that much difference? . Certainly the McQueen that I've watched in the last two seasons wasn't going to.

McQueen will be here because he needs the money. I don't think he adds a lot to the team though.

I think we have a fair bit of depth throughout our forward pack next year. The problem is we have no real impact player.
