Is the draw unfair

Our 2 byes are both after the origin games so losing Farah and woods for 2 games when other teams get the bye before the origin and can use their players the week after

Is that allowed or are they suppose to rest them ?

we have the toughest draw from now on.. dogs twice, panthers, manly, storm.

the teams we're most likely to compete with for the 7th or 8th spot like broncs and eels vs warriors, raiders, dragons and knights almost twice each.

if we make it into the 8, we'll be in the best patch of form by beating top 4 teams.

The draws rigged .. It's all about rivalries … Chanel 9 / foxtel have pumped X amount of dollars into the game and they want there money back . It's all for TV . Ever noticed how souths /roosters etc get most of the calls go their way ?

For the last few years these teams are the draw cards for the final series /TV ratings
Rivals ...
Parramatta /bulldogs ... Their on the up again
Rivals .. Wests /saints
Both teams will be on the rise next year .
It's all about the corporate dollar .
Call me loopy /crazy but that's my thinking !

Youre right about it being for TV…its a TV product now, and theyre paying the NRL the big $$$$....so they want something in return.
The draw is unfair in so many ways....you could make it fair and have everyone play everyone twice, but you lose big money spinner in the Indig/All stars and
the Nines = $$$$

Just like the start of tonight's game on channel 9 . Anybody would've thought origin was on tonight the way they were crapping on about it for the first 15 minutes … It's all bullshit ...
Imagine if you followed the raiders and ya didn't have foxtel and you didn't live close by to your home ground !
The broncos getting the first 10 or so games every Friday night !
I could wright a hardback book on all of this shit but you get my drift !

I suppose the key is not to finish 15th the season before

I agree the perfect scenario would be playing all teams home and away , but the season if you included four nations and semis would last for about 42 weeks if we did so not including a pre season

I must admit i was shocked looking at the rest of the season draw.

Only two games against teams below us on the ladder.

Too many teams - time to get rid of….
A. Melbourne - because nobody would care
B. Warriors - because it's National Rugby League , not international (start your own Pacific comp)
C. Souths - because they are scum and I have hated them since I was a boy and will until the day I die.

I'm not having a go at you here … But are you a Chanel 9 / foxtel or NRL executive or higher ?
I know how the draw works and in recent years Channel 9 have missed out on some blockbuster games . Why don't the nrl at the start of the year pull names from a hat live on TV .. Why don't the nrl share games evenly on free to air TV . Something's no right IMO .... Or I've drunk to much .

LAST years results. which quite frankly are not that relevant with Eels, panthers, and broncs on the rise, Storm, sharks, knights and raiders on the decline etc. etc.
