I think if we were at full strength yes we are a better side now however we are not at full strength. With Twal and Garner both out this week the pack just looks weaker on paper but hopefully the boys step up to the challenge

Overall slightly better in a few areas, New attitude in defense is great and i can't see them putting 50 on us.

Think the game will be closer than most predict question is can we keep Parramatta under 20 points and score 20 ourselves.
Lets hope we put up a strong performance better than last year.

It just became a whole lot more obvious to me how the absence of Twal, Garner and BJ hurts our team currently...
So on paper they are pretty even, hopefully the score reflects our improved attitude in defence.

Not only were we off our game, I seem to recall that JRey went off lame early in the match and that, although we were unaware at the time, Packer was seriously inconvenienced by the foot injury and was basically a passenger for the entire match. He didn't play again in 2019.

So, in that match, we basically only had 15 fit men.

Given that, I would back the 17 Madge picked for next match to beat the 15 that played last year.

I think only losing by 10 points and the toughness and resolve having no players on the bench at some point showed that this team is better.
Getting there close but still losing to the Top teams.
Blore was fantastic last night, and loved packer putting Matterson out of the game.
We still have a lot of improvement in us as well.

About to be 9th again though. With the draw ahead we’ll probably end up lower then that by the end of the comp. We haven’t won a game against a team ahead of us on the ladder. A lot of work still to be done.
