It really would not matter what Farah did there are going to be people taking pot shots at him and from where I sit I just can not see why anyone would bag one of the most influential players in our short history. Anyway I guess Robbie will be a easy place to lay blame if we bomb out.
People should be in awe of this guys determination just to get himself in a position to possibly play. Is it a good thing for our preparation, 100% yes. It gives all the other players person to follow and it distracts the media focus away from the rest of the playing group
Is quite unbelievable really and to see him running after 25 days... Something special.... It will inspire his team mates
It may inspire his teammates but I hope to God he doesn’t end up playing.
Just because he can run around at training doesn’t mean he will be able to withstand the rigours of an NRL match. He will be a sitting duck for the Cronulla pack imo and if he goes down early on we will be down a player for the rest of game and he may end up with an even worse injury in the long term.
We need the fittest 17 out there and the same combinations that have produced the winning performances of the past two weeks. This is the game of our lives, why on earth would we want to tamper with the team if it’s not really necessary?
As far as the media distraction around Robbie goes, I do believe it’s a positive for the same reason many others have already pointed out - it keeps the focus almost solely on him and off the rest of the team. It also stops the press trotting out stories, ad nauseum, about how long It has been since the West’s Tigers played finals football, which would no doubt end up guaranteeing our drought would continue!
He won't play... I wasnt inferring he could play
I know you weren’t Ink, I was just expressing my fear that they might play him and how silly it would be imo. I sure hope you are right though and he won’t end up playing, but I know how persuasive he can be sometimes. Hopefully he will come to realise before Sunday that despite his determination to play, a lame dummy half wouldn’t really benefit the team.
I just saw on 9 news they're saying he requested I think 30 tickets for friends and family.... Now I'm getting concerned... Hopefully its 9 BS.
Story after with fafita saying there's no mates on the field (opposition)
Any team would target the leg if its fragility is that well known
