Is there a better feeling?

….than leaving Canberra stadium when you are out numbered 7 to 1 and being the victor?

Stick that fair up ya raiders supporters. I went well over the top tonight and enjoyed it!

Biggest bunch of sore losers I HAVE EVER MET.

As I was walking out, all the Raiders fans could say was "Tigers suck". One of their 'fans' grabbed my flag and tried to run off with it. I mean seriously, grow up!

One of my friends is a Raiders fan. Got a message from them after the game saying "Kudos to the Raiders, you've got to admit, they have done pretty well this season"
No "congratulations, well done" …
All I replied with was "YEAH BUT WE DID BETTER! Kudos for them winning 9/10, but we won the last 1/1 and that's all that matters!"

I thought Parra fans were bad ... I met a new breed tonight.

And to the old people sitting behind me. No I wont sit down after my team scores a try. What am I obscuring from your view? The team walking back to the halfway line?!

That's the only bad thing about going to the footy is the way some people try to start trouble. I had one Canberra fan come up to me after the game and he flipped me off whilst saying "f you tigers" to me. I just ignored him and kept walking. Another sore loser came up me to after the game and was making fun that we are a joint-venture and he was saying that we are confused and that we don't know if we are tigers or magpies. So I just said "better luck next year" and I kept walking and he didn't like that and I could hear him yelling out abuse at me. Oh well.

Yes there is a better feeling that is on Grand Final night standing on Liverpool Rd outsides Wests Ashfield waiting for the team bus to arrive with a couple of thousand fans cheering best feeling in sport that I ever had!!!!

Oh what a night!!! No better feeling yet, but wait for next week.
I was up in the top of the eastern stand with a scattering of other Tigers fans. We all went off. The Raiders fans up there were OK. The couple behind me congratulated me/us before they left.

Yep, the best feeling of all would be to see the Tigers hoist the Premiership Cup. Living in Adelaide (and having extremely limited finances) though, who knows when (or if) I'll ever get to do that.

Yeah I've noticed the Canberra fans are a sour mob in the last few years, and I've been going to Raiders v Tigers games there for 15 years or so. The raiders mob around me in Bay 69 were ok, but there is often a general bad feeling among the raiders crowd especially when one of their players cops a knock, or when one of ours cops a knock and doesn't get up etc.

The courtesy bus back to Gungahlin was quiet  unlike the bus to the ground. However I didn't rub it into anyone on the bus…...do unto others and all that

I'm wondering where all these raiders fans are during the year? They never even get close to 20000 fans a game, and all of a sudden there's one crunch match and they come out like die-hards. I call it "Sydney Swans Syndrome"…..

don't forget to remind him that is now 5 straight wins.

i remember before the 04 season having a big argument on lu about benji in the raiders forum.
they believed all he had was a step that teams would contain and that he would be out of the game in 2 years and was over rated.
to make matters worse they said matt gafa would be 10 times the player benji is.

simply can't have a good league talk with raiders fans.stopped all communication in 2005.

Last year everyone jumped on the Parramatta band wagon, this year it's been Canberra, same result both ended up losers, in nearly 30 years of being in the comp it took until last night to set a ground record crowd

not wrong there.
they averaged 12373
even in 2002 and 2003 we had more and that was with a game plan to simply not get smashed by 30+

The game against the Broncos a few weeks back was the biggest crowd they'd played in front of since 1994.

Lol

7 to 1 you reckon? I thought it was more like 20 to 1 haha

But yes awesome feeling walking out of the stadium. One raiders fan was going on about the tigers milking penalties or something. Seriously, your team just lost and is gone for the year, why bother carrying on…

The old bloke sitting next to me was carrying on during the game too. I just ignored him, no point arguing when you're ahead the score board!

beating st.george illawarra is the best feeling in the world - second best feeling is beating the roosters although i havent had that feeling for a while now.

no we were in 66

Yeah might be a bit off there VX255, there didnt seem to be too many of us there.

I gotta say all the Raiders fans around me were pretty good sports. They were gutted of course; most were stoked about how good the crowd was and how much atmosphere was at the game.

They all shaked our hands as we walked out and wished the team good luck. Nobody is going to jump on the Dragons bandwagon!
