The amount of confidence the lads would have if they beat Parra and Souths in consecutive weeks would be huge. We lose and we're 1-6 and unlikely to make the 8, we win and we're 2-5 and could very well go on a run and remain in touch with the top 8 with the draw we have.

Top 8 isn't realistic this year. I would prefer to see a team that consistently puts in efforts like the Parra game. Only once the team performs like that in 80% of games can we expect finals football.

There is no excuse, they have set the bar and need to follow up with another quality performance.

If we play like we did against Parra, Souths would need to be at the top of their game to get the points

And lets not forget that Souths have some good players out...thats not an excuse,they are playing a team in the NRL comp and must back up the same display that they put up against the EELs otherwise we wont improve and still be also rans in 2022...A win will show that Madge has them playing well and in a good frame of mind,thats what coaching is all about...players improve,games won and no injuries,all of a sudden its like the commentator said on Monday...Tigers,Tigers where has this been.....
