I don't think Farah will be released anyway, they need him as back up for Grand Final hopes. I am sure that he is appreciated by senior players, coach and management.

On Big Sports Breakfast this morning they were saying that they wouldnt touch Luke & he would want a 4 yr contract. Laurie Daly said he just seems to play well when his contract is up, Plenty of other players in that catagory.

Selfish does not necessarily mean bad. Another of my famous analogies. When playing 500 the last time I went misere about 5 hands out of 7 and won them all. My partners hated it BUT WE WON. Sometimes if other players have dropsy, whether in Souths (like last game) or in Tigers with Brooks and Moses, then it is better for him to play selfish and put an excellent kick in that gains many metres instead of he ball going no where.
The Hooker/DH position is so important and I remember posting before the season even started, that we potentially had a looming issue in our squad. I supposed I hoped MM (or even JR) would do the job while Liddle prepared, but that just hasn't worked out. It's a big decision and we should be ready to throw some decent coin at it.
As for Luke - I worry that he is getting on and his injury status is not going too improve only worsen. I also don't see him coming to us for 1-2 years.
Anyone who can't see that Farah has taken his limited opportunities with both hands for Souths must be blinded by their dislike for him personally. Me, I have watched the games Souths played over recent weeks with Farah and I think he has been great. He is still fit, tough and a high quality, experienced d/h who would probably help our game big time.
That all said, I would still vote NO to his return to WTs. We have moved on now, into a new era and we are trying to build something with a new club culture that is central to the way the current playing group perform on the field. Ivan has a plan and Farah would only detract from that. Love him or hate him - he causes too much division and that is not what we need.
Of all the players mentioned I think Korisau would be best but I am sure Manly would like to keep him. Haven't seen Parcel play so can't comment.
