Didn't the Dogs do the exact same thing under Hasler and Raelene Castle awhile ago where they heavily back loaded contracts. It has only taken the last few years for them to recover... next minute..... back into the same trouble.

In this case no one is forcing him to discontinue his occupation. He gets paid to play for the Tigers

Wooden spoon
Coach sacked
Best second rower to NQ
Second best second rower to MAN
Depth second rower to PEN
Captain and leader likely gone
Halves won’t commit
No notable additions other than a classy hooker

Wonder why he’s having second thoughts

We had the worst Squad in the league - Worst Squad usually wins the spoon
That same squad was assembled by the coach you're complaining was sacked.
If he'd have matched NQ's offer for Luch and paid him 750k - That would be your gripe,
Not the letting him go for 700.
What have any of the halves done that we should need instant commitment from them - When there's so many other quality halves on the market at the same time?
THE biggest name half in the comp also has still not committed - Does that make the Storm a bunch of bums?
