How does it cost money ? A reporter ask's you if you intend to honour your contract and you say Yes just like Api did. If I was in his shoes it makes sense as other quality players might be deciding to come and him been there would be an attraction.

Anyway I hope your right and he comes.

Isn't there precedent where tallis had to sit out a season with St George.

If he wanted to stay at the eels why did he sign with us ? He doesn’t come he doesn’t play for 3 years how’s he going to pay his rent with no pay for 3 years ?

Signed to play under Maguire, his international coach. Plus the overall negative attitude toward our club in the press and our lack of signatures. I can see why he wouldn't want to come. In saying that, he has signed a contract so suck it up and make the best of it.

Anyone who signs expecting the coach not to change, especially the coach of a team near the bottom, would be a fool.
 
The club has made significant retention decisions on the basis of Papalii’s signature for 3 years. The contract needs to be enforced and the recruitment and development strategies for players allowed to proceed on that understanding. The club must stand up for its rights in this situation both ethical and legal.
