Author Dan Talintyre Timestamp Tue 10 Apr 2018, 04:00 PM

Western Suburbs Magpies Intrust Super Premiership Head Coach Brett Hodgson has named his team to take on the North Sydney Bears this Saturday afternoon.

Kickoff for the match is at 1:00pm AEST from North Sydney Oval as Western Suburbs look to continue their strong start to the year and cement their spot on top of the Intrust Super Premiership ladder.

Hodgson has named a strong team for Saturday's game, headlined by the inclusion of Tuimoala Lolohea at fullback. His return sees Watson Heleta move to the wing in place of David Nofoaluma, while JJ Felise and Cowen Epere both earn starting selections in the front row in place of Sauaso Sue and Tim Grant.

\
Matt McIlwrick starts at hooker, with Patrice Siolo to captain the side this week from lock.

Be interesting to see how Farah goes this game

This is too funny. They are playing for the Jason Taylor Cup this weekend. I cant see Farah kissing the cup if the bears win.

Oooooops…

I was wondering why Farah wasn't named in the Bears side

Would be funny to see JT hand the trophy to Farrah.

Luke Garner has been captain so far has he not ? What has he done to have it taken away ?

I hope that is the reason. I would love to see Garner in the top 30\. His utility value would be great for the NRL squad.
I could see him playing plenty of games in the second half of the season.

I was think the same thing, when reading through the team list.

He wasn't captain last week against Warriors either; can't recall who was but I did remark that he was no longer captain. Looks promising so far but hard to tell playing against ISP sides. I've been impressed with Drinkwater so far; form is much better than he displayed last time.

Yes I can picture it now , JT climbing under the fence with the trophy and Farah scurrying after him under the same fence :roll
