You guys are pretty rough on Gus Garzaniti. Give the young fella a chance!

He's had a year of chances in NYC/Flegg and done very little to show he has what it takes to step up.

If he can then great! But it would come as a surprise based on form from what i've been told.

True, but he did play in a woefully weak NYC side.

Hodgo has a good eye for a talent though, so fingers crossed.

we struck gold with drinkwater. you arent going to get a better quality 1/2 outside a top 30 squad anywhere in this country. its a shame but not a surprise that he's gone back over to the ESL. he looks to have come back a much better player then when he left.

Let's hope he improves even more and that we can offer him something for next year. He's definitely been a stand out in this comp.

gee this team has changed since the 1st couple of rounds. with us sacking players then letting them go, this team could end up at the bottom in a hurry. have full faith in IVAN but we need to sign some players, where from ???? but we need to fill the gaps.

Ivan has until June 30 to recruit players to fill the club's CAP space. First grade has begun to show signs of stress with quite a number of players currently unavailable. Wests Tigers have the CAP money to recruit quality players before 2019.

Why release him then? It's professional football, not a charity and this significantly impacts on Brett Hodgson's teams chances in this competition

Part of your statement is correct - It is professional football and Drinkwater is doing his best to make a living from it. Wests are decent enough to not stand in the way of a bloke who receives a better offer and was not contracted to our top 30\. Pretty simple really.

My understanding is we have the 1st option if we want to re sign him

Might make a habit of watching Le Catalans now they've picked up Josh, fair dinkum they need a player who has a clue about footy, the Dragons are stone motherless last and need a miracle to avoid relegation!.

I wouldn't. Super League is more boring than ISP. I would honestly rather watch an ISP match than Super League.

Love ESL…very free flowing, its good footy.
I heard Catalans won overnight by a point, Quadja with 16 points thru a try and 6 goals

good on him. Glad to see him do well over there. Too good for ISP and probably not quite good enough for NRL.
