There are a few good options out there for a hooker Billy Brittan, Daniel Levi, Segeyaro. It may be the case we need a long term hooker if Liddle can’t get back the same. The young QLD hooker would have to be 18 months away at least from first grade standard.

With Liddle out for at least half of next season I think we need someone with NRL experience at DH - this counts out Brittain and Woolford and dodgy knees rule out McIlwrick,

That leaves Luke (who I ruled out), Katoa, Lichaa and Baptiste.

If I had to choose - on a one year deal only (I might add) I would go with Baptiste.

You would choose Baptiste after this..Kurt Baptiste will miss the remainder of the 2019 season after scans confirmed he suffered a torn ACL..really..

Luke on less than 200k you'd have to say yes to a one year deal. The same as signing Farah, an experienced hooker to help our young boys. But not an elite player that would block their first grade prospects in the future.

I like him as a player but he has a terrible injury history. We can't afford to have another perennially injured hooker.
