Ok so now there's a big issue on mobile view. All quoted posts are expanded in full, meaning posts quoting numerous others requires a lot of scrolling, just to see the new comment.
I think it previously only expanded the two most recent posts and the rest were nested... Can we go back to that please? The forum is almost unusable like this

Can you share a screenshot please?

It taking about 15 seconds for a quote box to display. Occasionally I see what Geo is but mostly I'm seeing this - just the top of the 'tools' menu.


Noticed that as well, but turned my tablet on edge and the option box opened up at the bottom of the screen.

The issue actually lies between the keyboard and the chair... for some reason people like to quote posts with quotes in them.

No, it's not. Not on mobile.

Having a post where each line gets an extra 1-2 words means you would get the equivalent of one post per page, for those quoting a dozen other posts.

There's absolutely no need to display every single quoted post, you can expand the nest if you want, but by default you're only replying to the most recent comment

This is currently the worst forum experience on a mobile I've experienced in over a decade. I understand bugs happen when rolling out updates but this one needs to be rectified ASAP

No, it's not. Not on mobile.

Champion @Kul - mate when I try to "select all" to mark threads as read, it doesn't work - I seem to have to read/close all threads individually.

Yeah, performance has been poor after the update.

Interesting. The “update” was to a layout plugin, the underling software hasn't changed, so performance shouldn’t be an issue.

However if you guys are reporting that it’s slow, I’ll look into it.

Can you please keep posting here when it happens. That way I can track the times that it’s occurring and work back from that

Yes, line endings (soft and hard returns) are seemingly being replaced with spaces. HTML paragraphs and breaks appear to be working.
