Issues with injured players

Just looking at our signings for the last year and this year and look at how injury prone they are

2012 Reddy has always been in and out at Parra always been an issue

2013 Pettybourne seems to be carrying injuries and always hobbling around

2013 Thompson shoulder injury . No idea how he will recover

And our existing players

Moltzen Something wrong with him for a while

Sironen knees and shoulder issue at this stage of his career aren't a good sign

Ellis Great player but has had a few issues with groin and leg injuries

Not trying to pick on our recruitment , but you have to ask a lot of questions when you look at our continual injury tolls year after year

Its more than luck or coincidence in my opinion

Are our recruitment policies needing to be seriously addressed in the future or am I off the mark

i think you're off the mark with this one happy. i dont think of reddy or pettybourne as injury prone players at all. ellis has been frustrating over the last 2 seasons but we got 2 very good seasons out of him (and he still won best player last year). and i know you didnt mention him but braith anasta hasnt had too many injury issues. i think its mostly bad luck

The one I worry most about is Lawrence - he's getting back to form and now an ankle injury….

all the injuries he's had would impact on his speed significantly.

He's a tough nut, but I don't want him ending up like Justin Hodges where he's playing only about 10-15 games a year.

Injuries happen and are apart of any sport. I dont nessasarily think we have a higher injury toll than any other club, its just that we notice it more at the Tigers.

A couple of smart people have told me in the past they highly doubt young Siro will get to 100 NRL Games due to his body being broken. Hopefully this isnt the way it happens.

Thompson is due to have an extended run of luck... His whole career has been spent on the sideline, so hopefully he will be a handy addition on the bench in 2013.

Pettybourne is a Prop. Not many Props get through a full season without time on the sideline. Lets hope Woods is the lucky one!

The injuries we had on monday were unlucky.

We had an ankle fold under a player with lawrence (unrelated to hamstring and hip issues, terrible timing has he had been getting back into form)
BMM was clearly unlucky.
Sironen fell awkwardly, however may have issues given that is 2 at a young age.
Moltz has a recurring soft tissue injury (in the short term), but it is new and hardly a prolonged injury at this stage,

I reckon it is just bad luck
