I was using the ladder predictor today and I had us finishing on 30 points (as long as we beat the rubbish teams eels panthers roosters)

and it all came down to the final round. which I think we will win becasue we have a good record against the storm at home and no doubt the Storm will rest their players for the final week afte rthey have 1st place wraped up
 
They are no certainties for the M/P….only 2 comp points and 33 f/a clear...with broncos away and sharks home among thier clashes

Him resting players didnt work well for him last year either

Have noticed this fixture and thought of this scenario as well. It will be a 3pm kick off and the press will go into a frenzy because it is Sunday afternoon at the spiritual home of the Tigers. If we are in the middle of a winning streak, I reckon 1988 will be discussed. We will have Blocker, Sirro and Benny making comparisons to the Tigers charge of 1988 to the Tigers charge of 2012.

However, that is where it ends for me. I quickly remember 2007 and the pre match overconfidence before we then got pumped by Souths at Leichhardt….
 
I think we are more likely to have secured a spot in the finals , and that game will be us jockeying for position

Yeah tend to agree if, after 18 weeks have no idea how to defend and do the tough stuff we would be cannon fodder if we managed somehow to fluke week one. A statement needs to be made over the next 8 weeks not against the storm in week 26.

Ah yes, the same thread pops up every season lately. It's the same story isn't it, " our season depends on the last game" . Someone please slap me across the face but with our roster how is this possible and who us responsible?

In other words Storm could be our first elimination semi?

8 weeks is a long time. We may be in the 8 at that stage, we may be out of it with no hope.
 
I had us finishing on 30 points with us finishing 8 and playing souths

at least with the BETTER top 8 systme this year if you finish 8th you wont have to go down to Melbourne and get killed.

I guess the race for the MP is wrapped up now that the Storm are a massive 2 points clear atm
 
Ladder predictor is good for nothing. I don't know if the tigers are going to win or lose by 20 one week to next regardless of who they're playing.

yup, with us.. you can only look forward to next week and that's it.
the team is way too bloody unpredictable
