It's not over yet

It's still not over yet. It's a game of chess between tigers and sheens.

Please let us know when check mate looks likely.

They can't just sack him because it will cost WT $1,000,000\. Money we just can't afford to pay. Especially if you want a top class coach to replace him.
Warriors deal is still there but they can't wait too long so sheens will have to make a decision soon. He is in a win, win situation. But he is being greedy. He wants WT to pay him out and then take up the warriors deal. Whereas , he should sign with warriors first and then tigers pay him any shortfalls , if any.
Tigers just bought more time to force Tim's hand. He still might not be there next year

Of course he wants the pay out and the new deal - Who wouldn't especially if he has to uproot his life adn move to NZ.

I for one hope he stays - mayby all this will teach a few players the lesson that they aren't the club and arent bigger then the club (Benji I am looking at you after your disgraceful performance on the footy show)

Who allowed him to think he was bigger?

How is it that the WT are in financial trouble anyway? We are a club representative of the most populated region in Australia as well as the trendiest, most financially booming district of Sydney. We are one of the most supported clubs both in Sydney and outside of our home area and we have a billion dollar sponsor. Why the hell are we struggling?

I think the statement that the club are 'struggling' is a bit mis-representative. What it boils down to is that we don't have a cool $600,000 sitting in the bank to pay out a coach, but realistically I wouldn't think that many clubs would, struggling or not.

Going off Balmain Tigers Financial Statements, WT is around about break-even, which from all this talk about the TV deal is pretty good, but it doesn't mean we can throw cash around willy-nilly.

No, the club is struggling
Why? Bad management.
A few years ago someone dared to treat the club like a business, and because of sheens disapproval , he ended up in the dole qeue

Now, we are struggling due to poor financial management and sheens will be out the door with a payout….. Not fair

If all this is true George, Sheens is sounding like a real jerk. Whilst I've wanted him gone for a few years now, I've never disliked him. However, I am beginning to now.
