It's time to take the fight back to HBG

It’s like Groundhog Day for the poor Wests Tigers fans. HBG lobbing grenades on a regular basis & once again destabilising the club & making us the laughing stock of the NRL. On the off chance that we actually had worthwhile players ready to sign on, I think they would be backing out the door rapidly.
Yet another CEO gone for unknown reasons, he probably cut in front of one of the “dementia “ holders at the buffet or parked in someone else’s spot or God forbid he commented on jerseys.
At this stage I don’t care if they play in pyjamas, just let them concentrate on actually playing the game & cut out the power tripping & old man petty squabbling.
The league needs to step in and put a stop to the circus that is HBG for the sake of the fans. We need to be run like a professional NRL team not subjected to the whims of a bunch of geriatric amateurs that would struggle to hold a meat raffle.
Being a Wests Tigers supporter shouldn’t be such an embarrassment to admit nor should it be this disappointing.

Honestly, who cares. Sucks for us, because we drink from the firehouse of chaos that this club is. But your average supporter of our club or any other isn’t going to know or care about board squabbles. That’s not a defence of them. They are clowns. But so are Parramatta’s board. We barely know though because no one not connected to the club cares.

It for sure has to hurt recruitment at a time where other clubs are selling the dream and we’ve got drama headlines again. Sponsorship too

HBG CEO & WT board member Patton was stood down pending an investigation
Funny how theres always an investigation required and people to be stood down. Question that needs to be asked is if your overseeing him how did you not know what was going on prior to any investigation being required. Not to mention the ammount of investigations required for those answering to or on the HBG board? The question then needs to be asked how incompetent are they really that there seems to be a pattern that people around them or answering to them need to be investigated for potential issues occuring right infront of them. Only ones who need to be investigated are the HBG board members and debunture holders.

Why are you reliant on him now when you were 100% certain Richo was a criminal?

The club turned a profit and allegedly if they turned one more, they werent going to have to report back to HBG. There isnt much more to it. It was all about control. Ownership wasnt enough.
Richo hasn’t been around for 12 months, what has he got to do with anything that is happening now?
I believe we now have a much better CEO in Shaun Miekekamp, if you don’t agree that’s your opinion.
I have no idea what is going on with this latest HBG news, but as I’ve said, I was under the impression Paton was a decent bloke trying to make things better, so probably not ideal that he has been sacked, but I don’t know the story behind it.
All I care about is Wests Tigers, so as long as Shaun is allowed to do his job and is not micro managed, that’s all that I am concerned about.
If something changes and it means Shaun is no longer allowed to do his job without being micro managed, I would then be extremely unhappy about it.

Hey chatgpt, can you please write a media article about how the board level stuff won't affect the WT foootbal club and we are all united about the direction in which we are going

---

Hey Claude, can you search for a sports admin job title for someone with 10 years of experience in Rugby league and A league? Please make sure you mention that I have successfully navigated a dysfunctional board.

Hey Gemini, can you find a business class ticket from Sydney to Nadi for 2 weeks?

You are evading the question I asked.

Why do you needed cochise opinion on this matter, when you told us you had inside info on what happened with Richo. Surely you have your own insiders or opinions on HBG that you can share with us?

@cochise from my understanding has gained a good understanding on the HBG involvement and what they do or don’t do over the past 12 months.
Similar to what was happening 12 months ago, a board level decision was made which has little to no involvement with Wests Tigers and we have many supporters jumping to conclusions without knowing anything about if it will have any effect on Wests Tigers.
So if someone with the informed knowledge of @cochise comes on here and says it’s a disaster I will believe him.
Until then I will consider it as business as usual from a Wests Tigers point of view.
You are a very hard person to please if you are not impressed with Shaun Mielekamp,

In my last few posts I have told you what happened 12 months ago. I use the word allegedly to protect myself. Its just surprising that you now claim not to know, given you were presenting so many things as facts at the time.
