Its up to the forwards

Its not rocket surgery…..
With the heavy conditions they'll find today at LO, our pack imo will really need to get on top of the sharks forwards and dominate if we are to grab the two points.

Im concerned if they dont set a platform, and they way we like to spread it wide....we could find ourselves going sideline to sideline....it will be slippery so I hope we dont fall into that trap, we need to treat the 10m line in as the sideline.
Wet weather footy is usually about kicking, playing in the other teams half...this is another concern, I think Carney & Graham have a better long kicking game than we do.

Nothing too fancy should do the trick, minimal passing/ball handling...dent their line then boot it down their end, rely on our defence and wait for their errors.

Cronullas forward pack is very good. I think we have better props, a better hooker, but id have the backrows on par. I think they have a bit more impact off the bench with Tagatese and Fafita, as opposed to us with Fulton and Bell, although hopefully Groat gives somthing.

There a better side than what people and the media are saying and no side in the comp is easy in round 1 and the Sharks are generally good starters. I think theyve knocked off the Storm in the first few rounds the last two years.

We are pretty even in the pack department. I think 1 of 2 things will happen:
1\. This will bs a real arm wrestle of a match
2\. The packs will cancel each other out and it will come down to the skill of the backs

We will flog them.

No we wont.
It was as I thought, our forwards got on top of them - just, or if at all in the 2nd spell(pretty even really) ….but I still feel we go too wide too early
