Sorry, Penrith in the finals, Griffin has one year to go, but he's been told he won't be needed for next year…........all told this only weeks out from the finals, sounds a bit like a basket case of a club to be doing something like that.

Why the hell would IC want to go back to that given it could very well happen to him again, regardless of Nathan being there or not.

Fair enough…thanks for clarifying...$5.7m is pretty big sum, Griffin was on $750k per year
...I reckon Gould would have a coaches sombrero anyways .....

And particularly when there is a cap on coaching staff - that million has to be included in there next year football dept cap. Plus they have to pay new coach and any staff he may move on and replace - i don't think Gus thought this one out.
