If not, sack him.
Thats the only reason to keep him.

And replace him with who boss?

Wayne Bennett will be looking..there is also Des Hasler. Geoff Toovey, Micheal McGuire currently without an NRL gig..
Personally I think Cleary is heading in the right direction and think the talk now of replacing him 1 year into a 3 year contract is rubbish but to say there is not experienced options out there is not true..

Not really when Cleary can’t go one interview without being asked about it. It’s funny though, Pascoe and Cleary are always quick to hose down any contract talk before anything is official, yet with Nathan it’s freely discussed.
@ said:Needs to do some work on his recruitment & look at identifying and recruiting talent & up and comers rather than focusing on relo's and blokes he coached a while ago.
@ said:To some people, any kind of criticism of the coach is equal to wanting him sacked, which is completely false. If anything, this year has proven that he isn’t the saviour most thought he would be. He hasn’t been. We’re still the same bumbling mess we were under previous coaches. No progress has been made.

Ivan took on a club that most people were righting us off as a basket case.
His first year recruitment plan has given us all hope
We all know we needed to pay overs to sign the first few.
Piece by piece the puzzle started to fill.
He needed players he knew he needed players he could trust
Ivan cant shoulder the blame for past failures and that includes players inherited.
Ivan should be allowed a few years to shape the roster which will play the style he wants to play.
Ivan went to the board asked for Approval to sign Farah he got their support, we all must agree we needed a hooker.
Whod of thought that wed end up with Mbye?
Yes there has been missed opportunities when we were playing for 2nd spot, The players need to be accountable also.
Last weeks disaster included.
We have all been through so much over the years we are all wanting instant success with a salary cap its never going to happen.
We need to plan for a good finish to this year, we need another good off season under ivan, we need some critical signings some beefing up of the forward pack would be good.
What happens if Benji and Farrah dont play on , we then have more holes to fill.
Maybe the football department needs some freshening up.
I believe everyone needs to give Ivan a go hes got a 9/ 10 from me so far.
Expectations should have a dose of reality attached.

Its not a circus at all. We are finally being linked with a good player. Praise the lord I say.
An Origin standard player. The press are hardly going to be banging down his door about trash like Robbie Rochow or the journeyman we love to sign over the years.
This club needs hype about signings. Our roster is currently not good enough. We were on a 2 game winning streaks there were hardly any Tigers fans at ANZ on Friday Night. In fact there were hardly any fans at all. It was like a funeral.
The only time we have been good in our history is when we have made some big name signings (Prince, Hodgson, Tuqiri, Ellis)
