I've had enough

i am as passionate as the next supporter.
i thought the game was there to be won at halftime, but the team imploded.
it is just a game and theres greater things in life to lose sleep over, but i cant suffer jts rhetoric anymore.
i want a coach with passion, one who gets as stirred as what we do watching the mediocre tigers..

Rather than look at JT (I agree that he sucks tho) we should probably be looking at our defensive coaches. How long have they been at the team? Our defence has been abysmal for as long as I can remember yet we seem to do nothing about it.
If I was in my job that long and still making the same mistakes and failing to reach my targets I'd be sacked, so why isn't JT and our defensive coaches?
I agree with Teddy23\. I've had enough. But what can we do? I'm a Tigers fan until the day I die. Its a curse

Well hang on a sec. Taylor has clearly pinned his colours to the defensive mast, and he gets to choose who does the defensive coaching. But the team hasn't maintained its small improvement from last year:
2016 to date: average of 25.9 points against.
2015: 23.4
2014: 26.3
2013: 28.6
2012: 23
2011: 17.9
2010: 21

I don't want to be unreasonable: Taylor has to get defensive performances out of a team featuring two of the worst defensive players in the competition, which neither of his predecessors had to worry about (though the 2011 record from a team featuring Marshall and Lui is astonishing).

I also don't have stats on hand to work out proper comparison numbers, like points conceded per possession against. Obviously any team giving up 70% possession a week is going to conceded more than a team gaining 70% possession, no matter how good their respective defences in isolation.

However, when I look at things like the way the Tigers are protecting their halves (not sufficiently) and the way the right side structure holds up to pressure (not at all) all I see is a condemnation of the head coach. Again: this is what he has said, since day one, is his main goal. He's picking this side, and he's had opportunities to find players who can fit his structure better if these ones aren't up to it.

the game sucked, but honestly i think that with farah and ballin back next week ET can go back to playing a SERIOUSLY pivotal role in our attack and defence. And hopefully provide more stability in our pack and improve depth by pushing an average 2nd rower on to the bench (i think everyone can guess who)

im not saying we're going to make the 8, but i think we can bounce back this week and potentially pick up a win going into the bye

not to mention we clearly sucked at wet weather footy, we should do better on a dry pitch.

Agree with everything

Our coach is a joke, club is a shambles, losing wingers when we should have learnt from the last time, our defence is pathetic but I'll stick with them until the day I die

I think what is frustrating, even blind Freddie knows where we have some major problems, things like our right edge defence and our inexperienced and poor defending halves and there are plenty of other things….but nothing is done about it. Week in and week out the same mistakes are made by the same players. In a word madness

I think the main problem for this match was that Tommy Raudonikis wasn't around to give them a pre-match talk as per the previous week  Bring back Tommy

Us fans deserve better honestly, I against all odds with the weather and flooding etc, came all the way to SFS to watch us get outclassed.

I don't care what people say about Farah but he would've taken control and been very effective for us.

JT had my support, he has lost it now.

BRING A COACH IN THAT CAN MOTIVATE A TEAM NOT SOME BORING GRONK LIKE TAYLOR.

ET to hooker was one of the worst decisions I have ever witnessed from a coach. Simple.

I love this club, and forever will, but slowly, slowly losing the passion I once had.

I'm not losing it because of this game, but it's a build up of several dud decisions that has ruined this great club.

I'm completely over it, I'm over Taylor, I'm over the Farah situation, I'm over the whole Broses experiment, I'm over the stupid team selections, I'M OVER EVERYTHING!

iam with u, the weekend could not come quick enough so i could watch the tigers run around now i think i have lost it, really dont care much anymore, we have gone backwards and still seem to be going down the hill. cant see any change just more pain and hurt.

It started off badly at our house hold. One hour before kickoff we had a blackout.
We got power back 12 min in to the game. Just got worse from there on . Lol…

Taylor and his defensive coaches need a great big shove out the door, but don't worry we always play better after an absolute shocker, which then allows JT to crank on about building to something, he is not building squat, he sucks and needs to go.

That is bad luck, the power came on before the game finished.

Absolutely. We did really well to score right on half time to make the scoreline very respectable considering the possession and territory stats.
But then we literally came out and mucked up our very first set of the half, and so it went on from there.

2041's post is spot on. JT has nailed his colours to the mast in terms of fixing up our defence and playing a 'tougher' style of football. If there was every a chance to show what they'd learned over the last 18 months, yesterday was it, and it was a complete and utter failure.

we can blame everyone in JT, farah, oneil, brooks, naiqama etc but at the end of the day, it's how this club is.

we've tried everything
1\. made changes from the top (board, coaches, trainers etc)
2\. tried to or gotten rid of senior underachieving players (benji, farah etc)
3\. invested in the youth
4\. mixed experience with you

the culture has remained the same. losses and more losses. forget everything, the wests tigers brand is one of failure and loss.

Not a truer word spoken TP. We simply are the embodiment of chaos.

It's getting to the stage where I don't even see the point of getting a new coach. Next year is the last year before the off field salary cap comes into effect and there will be plenty of other changes for that year too, so the end of 2017 seems like the right time to make wholesale changes. What's another year of mediocrity between friends?

While i don't disagree completely we did make the top 4 2 years running in 2010-2011\. That proves that with the right cattle we can compete.

IMO people on here have a tendency to look at things with rose coloured glasses sometimes. If you asked anyone who doesn't support the club for the last 3 years they would have told you we won't make the 8\. the general forum opinion is usually a little more optimistic.

The truth is we don't have the players. There are several player who are regulars in our side that are not up to scratch, they compete here and there but they come up short most weeks.

Until we turn over some more players and get the cap killers out nothing will change.

What gets me is that Taylor used to write columns and provide graphic drawings in the telegraph about how to defend the edges ????

You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

How old are you Teddy? Were you old enough to put up with Balmain or Wests prior to the merger?

Mate I'm in my 20s and started supporting this club since 02, I'm very lucky I wasn't a tigers fan through that mess!
