So what’s everybody going bananas over ? He said next stop Redfern? Did he say this just after thier grand final victory ? It’s pretty on the nose for him to say something like that at that point , considering what he’d just accomplished with his mates , IF , big IF, he meant it the way you guys are implying . I highly doubt his head would have been there even if he was “screw these guys, I’m out !”. He’s probably referring to party town , ie.“ I’m going to party in Redfern now with my mates , yeww !

What’s more likely , a 25 year old in lockdown for 6 months , who just won the GF, being like “ah my contract situation is the most important thing right now” , OR...
“I’ve just won the GF this is the greatest day of my life , where’s the beer bong “

you had me until those last four letters

You’re a Cairns local ..
You’d have a beer bong in your glove box surely !

We use Kegs up here mate

Most likely strapped into the front passenger seat ...

Actually a good friend of mine owns the Kombi Keg up here in Cairns
Holds 4 big kegs on tap and 2 spare from memory
It would be right up your ally
Now back to Jac

Greatb matching pair, one let JAC slip, the other Papenhuyzen. Great talent scouts.

Wanted to bring up “the reading the play” Twitter post from a few days ago saying that we signed JAC weeks ago. Anyone know his story or history? Wondering if he actually does get good mail.

Also been wondering if this JAC situation will be sorted before origin or if it’ll drag out even further.

you'd hope he would sign before he goes into origin camp...otherwise it's another month...

Meanwhile, NRL.com understands the Tigers original four-year offer for Addo-Carr remains the only contract tabled to his camp at this stage.

I reckon within next week we will know as Freddy has openly criticised ongoing contract negotiations before origin

Is it just me or does Fitler seem to have caught Goulds thinks he is more important than what he is thing

I think after last night ive been proven correct here.

Guy is up his ego.

Winning Origin definitely took the ego up a few notches. It was already pushing 11 as it was.

Seems as though smith will be the replacement but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s off to the dogs. Will all come down to money it seems

release smith to go to melbourne to free up the cash to splash on flanagan to let JAC be released to come to us....if the bulldogs play their cards they could also probably get Roberts on the cheap from the bunnies.

I hope Souths can't get their ducks in a row.

If bulldogs can offer them a player and we can’t then they are in the box seat unfortunately.

Sounds like he’d be the perfect fit not only for his on field talent but his presence off the field

Apparently they are paying Flanagan a mint. Surely they can’t get JAC as well. We have to go hard for this.

Bit surprising considering he was on around 300k at the roosters

Not necessarily. He still has to want to go. There could easily be a player merry go round.

Sounds like he’s letting his manager handle it whcih means he’s interested in the money And getting a good deal and dogs have money

I'm still not sold on giving up a player to sign another, especially if we are not the new players preferred destination.

We can offer just as much money as the dogs can I’m fairly sure. Unless they offer him a mil a season I’m pretty sure we can keep up with them price wise
