Anyone thinking that Remis Smith is the player that Melbourne want to release JAC, has not watched him play. He is bog average and no better then any winger we have. George Jennings is a much better winger. We are the only ones with an offer on the table. If he wants to come tigers then he is already ours. He played his last game for Storm (replacement is not necessary now)

Sounds like he’d be the perfect fit not only for his on field talent but his presence off the field

I'm still not sold on giving up a player to sign another, especially if we are not the new players preferred destination.

If it’s the only way to sign a player like JAC we at least need to entertain the idea of it especially now that other clubs are in for him

Got that LM debacle feel about it now. I think give him a deadline and be prepared to move on if he doesn’t accept it.

This is LM all over again..... He to wait and guess what... That gives Souths time to get ducks in order and come in and pick him up.
I know we are not in the best position to put deadlines down but if he really want to come here he will. We are offering him everything he wants - Fullback chance, Great money and incentive he is goes well there.. It just feels wrong again to wait and miss out on other players. Remis Smith has lost his way these past few years but is still very much a talent. Melbourne will bring it out of him and he'll be an elite player within 3 years.

Matty B is one of the few who are legit. It is rare for him to straight out say things. He is like The Pom in that sense. He normally just posts what he has heard.

He has sent messages that he is very, very, very, reliably informed on JAC.

Either he is right, or there goes his rep.

I have a Dogs mate who is just as confident, and he also rarely talks up things.

Seems like it may well be done.
