Ground hog thread. How many times can the same comments be repeated over and over again. There is absolutely nothing to report atm.

Whether he changed his mind on us or we couldn’t satisfy Melbournes demands, he’s not coming. I just hope our recruitment team haven’t invested all their energy on JAC. We have a sub standard squad, we need some quality signings

I’ve been told the deal is dead in the water. He will go back to the Storm and sign with the Rabbits in 2021.

No one to blame but management for that one. If we can’t land a big signing in 2022 we are screwed

Please explain how you come to that conclusion, with actual verifiable information.

He gave us a heads of agreement apparently, ready to come here all we needed to do was make a deal with Melbourne. ***We refuse,*** he stays at Melbourne or goes somewhere else and he never plays for us. ***It’s us that refused to play ball***

How do you know that? How do you know that Melbourne didnt say we want Nofo or Talua, Tigers said "No worries" and Nofo and Talau said "no thanks"?

How do you know they did? All reports are saying we refused a swap. Madge seemed pretty clear on that when asked about Nofa.

What reports? From the media? Who cares what the media reports. It’s 99.9% rubbish.

There’s a lot of rubbish but they also get plenty right. Just gotta know which journos are half decent. I don’t take it as gospel but you can’t just ignore it all

Sure you can until it’s announced or you hear it from the horses mouth. The media’s job is to create conflict and anxiety to generate revenue. Nothing else.

Each to their own. I know what journos have decent info and what ones are there to create drama. Admittedly majorly of them are the latter ?

That is valuable information, too valuable to keep to yourself.

Which ones have the decent info?

For tigers stuff? Chammas, Niclousi are the main ones. Weidler talks a lot of crap but when he says a deal is done he is normally decently accurate, he just likes to cause drama interviewing players and coaches and stuff lol

Ah yes Michael "Maguire has lost the dressing room (2020)", "Russell Packer is going back to the Warriors on a Loan Deal (May 2020)", "JAC is coming to Tigers instead of Latrell (Nov 2019)"...Chammas.

Unless the story involves Benji Marshall or Robbie Farah, Chammas knows nothing. Chammas is a reliable source of Marshall news, not Tigers.

You can't make someone sign who doesn't want to be here.

Deja Vu. What has Wests Tigers done to put him off? If its not the big money from Souths then what is it? By the way he is very uncommonly serious in that interview.

It's a very competitive market for players. We need to keep signing the best juniors and provide the finest training. Saab or Lumelume have bit going for them. Hopefully Gebbie is a recruit.

Having that sook Matterson in our side this year may of just pushed us into the 8. Not to mention would of made of us a lot stronger going into next season.
And it’s always said JAC is being a good sport his honouring his deal and not making a fuss, maybe that the mindset Melbourne have managed to get into their players.
There is no way JAC should be in my opinion playing for Melbourne in 2021 ‘if he legitimately has a family reason’ but yet it seems like he is...

Having Matterson would have meant we had no AD or big Lucy as we would not have had the cap space

Chammas has just lost his source for Tigers news.

This does not look good for WT reputation.
Someone has lost some credibility on this.
You can watch it on video.

Asked whether he holds a heads of agreement with the Tigers, Addo-Carr paused before answering: "No. Like I said, man, my manager's sorting everything off-field and I'm not too fussed about it."

I think JAC is just like LM and after seeing him on channel nine , where lied about signing a heads up contract , I don’t want him , I think both have played us for there own pleasure

Yea ..... time to close down this thread.
Let’s look at some realistic long term signing options ...l and JAC is just not one of them.

I do hope if we miss out on his signature, we make a public comment saying we are disappointed in missing his signature as he is a fine player, and considering we di have a HoA, but we'll move on.

That's if we actually had a HoA of course.
