I just hope that the club doesn't back down on the HOA. If we are not his club of choice and Melbourne release him then we hold all the aces. He, his manager and the club he chooses can come crawling to WT to negotiate a release. I hope that we have finally drawn a line in the sand and show these so called big clubs that the giant has finally woken.

As. I wrote last night, for a player supposedly undecided about his playing future, he sure delivered. He is far better than what we have in our NRL team at present in the outside backs, but I have high hopes for Kepaoa.

I'm guessing one of your hopes is that AJ removes the butter from his fingers ?

Teaching someone to catch is simple.

Maybe you should offer your services to the club

I'm sure the Club has it under control.

But in that context, you're welcome to come down to watch cricket training and the boys and girls doing their fielding drills.

The Club will be outcome orientated. Getting JAC is the no 1 priority,.

Teaching someone to catch is a simple directive, however, also involved is ,reflex,co-ordination and lots of practice ...

I think what we can offer JAC if he wants it is a leadership role, more responsibilities and a challenge to make the team look better.

Going to Souths/Melb, he will continue to flourish as a great winger, if he wants more than that then he will have to come here

Let’s get serious, Nick Cotric’s deal at the Bulldogs is for 650k per season for Next 3 years - JAC makes him look pedestrian - we’ll need an extra wheelbarrow tomorrow.

spot on Cotric is 650k
Nofo 450k
we should offer JAC 700k or 750k he is so far ahead of both of them
in saying that if Cotric is on 650k then Nofo should be on more than 450k more like 550k or something question is do we as a club want to pay him that sort of money given make up of team if we do get JAC

I thought Cleary’s early kicking and Foxx’s chasing kept the Maroons on the back foot. Brooksy I know you were watching . Now who have we got in the team who can hit 37kph ? Nofa? Kepoa? One of the forwards maybe? Lol

Forget that. Who have we got as an accurate kicker? Lol

But then we wouldn't be able to see brooksy's special bombs.

Having Kepaoa and JAC in the team would provide the motivation to try the long range kick and chase!

JAC is definitely the best winger in the comp but spending 10% of your cap on a winger is suicide.

Brooks & Liddle/Simpkins will have to practice plenty in the off season

Take it from someone whose dropped plenty it’s more psychological than physical. This is why I am a huge AD fan he seems mentally tough.

Nup. Spend it. Beats having 35% on reserve graders. If we can jag him we’re instantly more able to attract indigenous and classy players.

Definitely nowhere near that figure unless the cap got seriously cut

Tupou is also a pretty good winger. I'd love to get JAC but you are correct that we would have to try him at fullback and we need him to make it.

Honestly for our team JAC is an ideal signing. I think Latrell may have been even better but JAC would be a really good signing for us mainly due to the fact that we lack pace.

agree paying 700k to 750k if JAC can play fullback is a great buy. If he can't then we have a very very good winger that yes we have paid overs for but again is better than what we have at the club.
Hoping we can make something happen we need aquality circuit breaker in his prime and rep level,

By all reports he won’t be recruited on the wing. Even if he does, a winger’s value and importance has changed over the last 20 years.

I think we need this one to break the back for our recruitment to not look like a 2nd rate organisation. If we take a punt and pay him OK fb money, like 700k, then I think we should.

Will be a better investment than packer and Reynolds has been.

The only issue that sets for me is the expection of noffa come renewal.

$750k??? That’s JRey and Packer money!

Yes I think $700k or 750k worth the gamble for JAC. As others have said if you are paying that sort of money then you probably can't be paying Nofo 550k which is what he could probably get at other clubs.
