Well I do know his family. Talk to his cousin a bit but I don’t really ask him much about the contract out of respect but the way they are as a family and some of the deaths they’ve had in it this past 2 years, I can’t see him going back to Melbourne just to get out of an agreement with us. I’d say 95% sure he’s in Sydney next season

Nah mate, just gave some intel that I recieved. I know it upsets you when someone outside of your boys club gives some intel which may or may not be true.

How would I know or not know what he is doing. What I do know is that we need him and we should chuck the kitchen sink at him to get him here. I also know anyone who thinks we don’t need him has absolutely no idea about footy.

If you asked me if JAC would be a good fullback at the beginning of the year I would of said NO thanks.. But the way has has played this year and added bulk has just convinced me he is a fullback with the spark we need desperately. Has not lost his speed and seems to be dropping back a lot more and catching bombs (hardly misses now) and you add the energy he brings a team is unbelievable..
I was starting to convince myself we have no chance but hopes raised this week after the rumours and if we miss out now I will even more disappointed then i would of been last week.

If he can score as many tries as Nofo wouldn't be a bad signing for one or two years as a plan B we've signed a lot worse.


We need to give our Younger players an opportunity otherwise they will get disillusioned rather see Nofo and Kepaoa on the wings next season. BJ if performs and Talua in centres, AD and brooks in the halfs that leaves Momi as a possible fullback option as he has the height - Still Thin in the backs if we have injuries.

JAC is a must. He's been brilliant again tonight. Like Paws says it's not just the work that he does with the ball, it's without it too. The work that he does on a kick chase is massive in winning the territory battle.

The amount of games this season when we were constantly boxed in our own 20, unable to break the line, then having JACs kick chase as an option to kick early in a tackle count to relieve some pressure and have the opposition start a set 40/50 yards upfield would be massive.

You also have to have someone that can kick...we don't.

Momo isnt a fullback for sure,but he is a very handy footballer who at least tries every time he laces on the boots...JAC may want to play fullback and is a brilliant winger,yet to prove if he can handle the fb position...

I've seen plenty of wingers better imo. Not prepared to debate this as it is my opinion.

Then people start getting into era's and how the game has changed etc.
