Think everyone is just going to have to be patient. It’s not something that’s going to be announced tomorrow or even next week. I don’t expect any sort of announcement till the season is over. Just like Bunny Lebowski’s kidnapping. there’s a lot of in and a lots of outs to this situation

Yeah well that’s just like, your opinion, man.

Signing players is a lot like Vietnam and not like bowling... Doesn't seem to be any rules...

The only delay is Souths trying to get there house in order .JAC only wants to go to Souths

Rubbish. Many reasons you are wrong

* He wants to play FB. Lattrell is there and AJ is a very capable backup.
* He loves the Tigers and can't see him rejecting us outright
* Melbourne have already confirmed that there is "a club" that they've been talking to for a swap. Which, if Souths are still getting things in order, it's not them.
* The POM (and others in the know) have indicated JAC is well in frame.

Where did you get your info from?

I really hope not. I can understand to worry given the whole LM debacle but for some reason, this just looks / feels different. What we know is JAC has indicated that he likes the Wests (LM never did). There are a limited amount of Sydney clubs that can afford him and JAC wants to be in Sydney.

If i was to guess, the biggest reason for the delay is Melbourne are not getting what they want on their side of the deal and refuse to put the organization in a weaker position for a player they have on contract. Good luck to them, imo that's just good business sense. Why release a player you have on contract and get nothing in return?

While I have no clue where he is going, I feel the whole fullback thing has been blown up - I really don't think it's the deciding factor for him. Hence why he's willing to accept our alleged stipulations around him potentially dropping back to wing.

I don't think he'll be unhappy playing on the wing.

And maybe its the pessimist in me, but I really feel like he wants to join his mates at Souths and is waiting for that opportunity. LM vibes for sure.

But lets see.

So Souths have been frantically managing their cap, re-signing Latrell on more money, re-signing Graham on more money, re-signing Walker on more money, re-signing Johnston, and trying to secure Suaali, while still having Gagai and Roberts on big money too. Where exactly are they going to be playing all these backs on good money, and then also having room for JAC?

Probably just his manager doing his job. We've probably laid out our offer and they are trying to squeeze a bit more juice from the lemon.

Also re-signing Johnston for reportedly $200k less to fit him in may not be well received.

Here’s a thought. Maybe they aren’t.

And Souths still need some more grunt in the forwards. Their backs already are vry good, it's their forwards that needs bolstering.

From Channel 9:

According to News Corp, the Storm wanted South Sydney winger and centre Campbell Graham in exchange for Addo-Carr, which swiftly ended negotiations with the Rabbitohs.

"We have spoken to the club he wants to go to and inquired about a couple of players and they have fobbed us off," Storm CEO Dave Donaghy told media on Wednesday.

"It is their prerogative but it's not helpful in trying to achieve an outcome for Josh."

Yeah... seems like Channel 9 is trying to shape the agenda that JAC's preferred club is the Rabbitohs

Isn't it Melbourne who aren't being helpful in trying to achieve an outcome for Josh???

Give the Storms nothing. Backed themselves into a corner because nobody's taking the bait.

JAC is gone whether they get compensation or not...
