Don't think we'd get him for less than a 4-5 year contract. These things are risky and prefer 3 years but he's probably earned the right to ask for such a deal.

i think JAC will cost us more like 675k to 700k still money well spent

Really would you pay that much for a guy untried at nrl level at fullback he’s playing with a gun side down in Melbourne gunna have to do a hole lot more running and work off the ball hope I’m wrong but no thanks

600k is the absolute max we could pay for him. 550k ideal. I don't like the 4 year deal. 3 years plus a club option perhaps, but 4 year deal are always extremely risky.

Foxsports suggests contract offer of $600k per season.

I am with you on this one as that seem a little high for me but when you are in our position we need to pay overs. I still believe we won't go that high as Madge is good at pricing players.
I think with a full off season training at FB and his knowledge from Storm system he might be a diamond in the rough but my only concern for me is his passing and been like another half in offence.
My Fingers are crossed either way as we need a win and he would do that..

Considering the Dogs paid like 650k for Cotric I think that's a fair call.

Wests Tigers table Josh Addo-Carr four-year multi-million dollar deal

Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr's eventual move to Sydney is another step closer to becoming a reality after the Wests Tigers tabled a four-year multi-million dollar contract.

Addo-Carr, who is expected to be released by the Melbourne Storm on compassionate grounds at the end of the season, revealed last month his desire to switch to fullback once he finds a new club, presumably in New South Wales.

Tigers coach Michael Maguire recently spoke to the 25-year-old about switching positions and taking on the club's fullback duties, which would also command a larger pay packet compared to that of a winger.

Now it appears Addo-Carr's a step closer to returning to Sydney and making a comeback at his former club after the Tigers offered him a four-year deal to become the new No.1 according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

One of the fastest players in the game, Addo-Carr, who represents NSW and Australia, has scored 75 tries from 100 NRL appearances playing almost exclusively on the wing.

He told The Sydney Morning Herald last month that as a member of the Storm, he's learned a lot from legendary fullback and Melbourne club great, Billy Slater.

"I wouldn't mind challenging myself. I played fullback in under-20s and all of my junior footy, too," he said.

"If I have a full pre-season and work extremely hard, I think I can be up there.

"When I came down to Melbourne I learned a lot off Bill [Billy Slater], you get to pick his brain."

No issue with $600k. With Joey reportedly on $600k, Reynolds on $800k, McQueen $400k it looks like good value

When you out it that way, JAC on $600k is excellent value.

He is the best winger in the game. Let's do it.

And after all this leadup, if we dont lure him to the club, it's another occasion in the public eye where the media will say we have failed because we are seen as an undesirable destination.

Have any numbers been mentioned other than "multi-million dollar" deal? If it's a 4 year deal, it's expected to be multiple millions.

Is it closer to 2 mil or 3 mil?

I hate 4 year deals......can't recall when the last 4 year deal for the WT worked out to be good one

He played well at Melbourne where he was at for at lest 4 years.

Keen to have him onboard, but no way he should be paid anywhere close to what a top line fullback earns. He's unproven in the position and if it didn't work out it he'd make for a very expensive winger. Having said that, at the right price, even if he did need to fall back to the wing we'd still be getting good value. Hope they don't go overboard on this one if it eventuates.

We do actually need to get this guy here. For so many different reasons. $600k a year is a steal in my books.

600k is probably about where he is at, but if Madge guarantees him the fb spot then there's an issue....
Fight for the right to the job sure, but no guarantees...I think JAC would agree to that
