If Melbourne want a replacement for JAC why don't Wests Tigers offer Momorovski?. He has trained all season with Melbourne and would know the Melbourne system very well. Prior to his injury he fitted well into the Melbourne style of play, can play centre or wing and is a goal kicker.

I hope JAC turns out ok for us,he is a great player, however,if he doesnt handle fullback are we back to square one looking for a class fullback..

I think that there is only possibly 4 "class" fullbacks in the comp, being Tedesco, Ponga, RTS, Holmes and maybe Nichol Klokstad.

2 "Good" ones,.....Elliot & Gutherson.

The rest are "Average", Brimson, Hoy, Allen, Funa, Hopoate, Dufty, Boyd, Hynes, Baby Bubba, .

No one knows where JAC will fit into this hierachy but even if he fails I back Mbye on recent form as better than most in the "Average" category above.

I could point out that we have had years now with zero leaks until Benji is tapped on the shoulder. I

I don't think it is any coincidence that leaks started appearing near enough straight after that, he has many media mates, who will write a story to suit his agenda

Papenhuyzen is well on his way and already better than Holmes and CNK.

I would say the best fullbacks are Tedesco, RTS, Turbo, Ponga and Papenhuyzen.

You are right about Paps, and I don't really rate Elliott along side Gutho either

Agreed, not sure how I missed him, of course add Turbo. My point being that IMO Mbye on current form is as good as probably half the field as a fall back.

We were apparently going to sign Edene Gebbie from Souths, but he up and left the country without giving much notice.

Might have seen the photo of JAC with the rifle.

There seems to be an underestimation of Liddle's ability. It was his crisp pass to Brooks for the field goal. It was his superb passing from dummy half which got our forwards moving forward against the Eagles

JMHO, but I think Liddle has returned a better rounded player.

We've had some topics that have gone on , and on, and on .... over the years (thanks Robbie!).

But I reckon Fox Sports are setting media records creating sensational headlines and vacuous content all involving Wests Tigers!

$550k a year back in Sydney plus representative match fees will be plenty. if we end up with Staines I think it'll be long odds for him to be playing at the back anyway, and that price tag will be justified.

so let’s say $500,000.

OK lets say that..

The NRL is so unprofessional, lacking standards and a moral compass.
Journalists are able to state fantasy salary figures without the threat of sanction. These are players/clubs futures at stake and anyone associated with the game can pluck a figure out of the air, create some sensationalistic story around that and no recourse follows.
The latest “Not Fullback money - 500k“ so called ‘revelation’ has affected the Tigers’ ability to negotiate in private. No doubt some other teams may enter the fray now, probably assuming previously that we were offering a lot more. Bring into the mix a crooked player manager fanning the fire and the bargaining process is tainted. Was it disclosed how much the Roosters offered Sonny Bill - more like that he’s heading there, I don’t recall the funding put under a microscope.
These Bottom Feeders in the media are bringing the game into disrepute with their targeted selections.
