It's a bit weird (but typical of WT) that we would want to bring back a winger, in JAC, to play fullback when we let a fullback go, in Ryan Papenhuyzen, to the club that JAC would be leaving!!!

I'd love to know what Bellamy thinks of JAC's prospects of becoming an effective fullback??

Sorry, but I'm not so ethused about JAC's signing if it is for fullback.

Have you not been reading the news lately, Bellamy has stated that he thinks JAC will make a good fullback.
I said earlier imagine him with his speed in a roving FB role, could be fantastic.

MMM just said he has signed with Titans for 2yrs

titans are a club that are recruiting well.....

where does JAC's family come from? It would defeat the purpose if he has to travel further playing at GC....

Cant find anything elsewhere.

There was a fake tweet last night about JAC going to Titans, as in it was posted via a fake account. Hopefully MMM got suckered in by that.

Looks that way as was on 7.30 news but not repeated at 8.00 am news.

Yeah it confused me when I saw it, Gold Coast isn't in Sydney, I thought he wanted to go to Sydney for his family I thought. Some of the comments of the tweet mentioned that the account it was being posted from had only 19 followers or something similar, and that's enough to let it be known that it isn't real. As surely an NRL official club account would have more than 19 followers.

When these people who do troll posts like that, figure out a way to get 1,000+ followers, then it will be more difficult to tell what's real and what isn't.

Hopefully very soon all doubt is put aside as we see the official announcementS!

He was never going to Souths.

I'm still not 100% JAC wont end up @ Souths as part of a swap with AJ...

I cant wait to be wrong...

Didn’t AJ just resign (Yesterday) with the bunnies?
In fact it was reported he knocked the Storm back?

We all have bad feelings at some point when dealing with news about recruitment by our club.
It’s only in the bag when you read it on WT website.

I have been reading the news but probably not as closely as you have been. Thanks for clarifying.

The earlier comments from Bellamy a week or two ago were "i think he has the attributes he could become a good fullback, but i see him as a winger"

No, you’re just being a pessimist

Years of practice when it comes to my beloved WTs and their recruitment history.

Me too. I think Mbye may yet make a good come-back to the #1

You're wrong
Wayne Bennett said yesterday he had never heard such a cheer from a bunch of players when it was announced that AJ would be staying.

Doesn’t mean you aren’t a pessimist this time round. There’s no logical reason why Souths would re-sign AJ only to then swap him. It’s not going to happen.
