Addo-Carr likely to find himself playing with a bottom 4 side in '21 and struggling to stay in the Origin side. Barrett has not done anything as a head coach thus far.

I think it’s from 2022 ! anyway anything can happen in an entire season .
He is a good player but I am not to deflated by this .. wingers are a dime a dozen . The team needs other positions filled at present with quality the wing spots are covered atm !
JAC good luck with all that 😂pack of losers !

As stated last week fox was a done deal at the dogs.
Latest info cheese is no longer a done deal there as a bidding war has started (similar to fox and us). Dogs now looking at Mcinnes as a backup if they cant land the cheese.

Dogs r a genuine threat 2022

Flanagan and burton r both huge talents

And along with JAC they will fire

Barrets done well

Who gets them rolling forward though? their forward pack is reserve grade standard

They have Herrington, Thompson, big papa and Josh Jackson... it's not the worst pack.

Probably going down the same route as Souths this year. Stack the backs and hope the forwards aim up...worked for them.

Lol do people still rate Napa and Jackson in 2020?

Fair enough about the other 2.

They're not world beaters but there would still be a lot of sides that would welcome them into their pack.

I think hooker is their biggest concern.

I’d hazard a guess and say Napa and Jackson would not make many other teams top 17. Thompson is still an unknown in the nrl, he didn’t impress me that much tbh and Hetherington is a known penalty magnet

Can cop losing to Souths, but how Bulldogs can get these signings done is beyond belief.

How do we have a worse rep amongst players than that rubble....

Agreed we have more important positions to fill than at wing but a signing like this brings a sense of momentum and club on the rise. Can do wonders to the team moral and drives future recruitment.

The X factor we would of had with JAC, Nof, BJ, Roberts in the backline would have been insane but wasn't meant to be.

Time to recruit a powerful second rower...

They definitely need to upgrade their forwards and sign a hooker. They’ll chase McInnes and The Cheese pretty hard I’m sure

Trent Barrett must be a popular man amongst NRL players for some reason, he seems to have a lot of pulling power despite being a pretty poor coach last time he was in charge.

Ah well another one we missed, add it to the pile

We gave it our best shot, thats all you can do. We were one of many after his signature ,don;t forget that. Now throw the bank at Crichton, and Staggs, far better value for our side.

A little disappointing, but really didn't want to see the club fork out big money on a player who wanted to play in a new position. If he didn't work out as fullback, there's potential issues there.

Anyway, it's a new club for us, we're not paying overs.

We should go all out for the cheese!

Dogs have some very 'influential' new people involved. Youngish, hip, popular with the in crowd. The new Politis...

They likely will become the new Rorters in terms of being a 'destination club'.

We did, I just hope we don’t spend our money on some bum instead. It would be nice to sign a genuine marquee signing for the first time in a decade

What turned JAC off signing with the Tigers?

They are getting some quality players and we aren't getting those players. We have to wait and see how it turns out but they mist be looking better over the next couple of years.

Assuming the money would have been the same...I could only think that possibly JAC himself see's the Dogs a better shot at finals than us?

This can only be considered as a massive failure for our recruitment team at our club. There was an elite player who wanted to join us, and agreed to join us, and yet we still couldn't get the deal done. How he chooses the Dogs over us when they seemingly offered the exact same deal we did is beyond me. They've now signed two origin backs and we've signed an injury prone player with massive off field issues.

He's not joining his brothers at souths, he's joining losers at the dogs instead or returning 'home' to us, a club he's supported and shown his appreciation of the club in the past. What happened. How did we turn him off us so quickly?!

I can only imagine our signing him to the MOU only to then not arrange a trade for him. Failing to trade inferior players for far superior players is a massive fail for the club and a plus for the dogs. They still have no spine and a lot of money tied up in a handful of players so they're going to have no depth. They've just signed MWZ for example

JAC is not the sharpest tool in the shed,it could be an FJ holden they gave him on the side.

Phil - The dogs. He signed that heads of agreement and was over the line. Dogs came in late with big money, so he went back to the storm requesting to see out his contract so he could take up the Dogs deal.

Now same thing is happening to them with Cheese. All but done, but now other clubs coming in hard, after his manager advised he was on the market
