Jacin Sinclair on 60 Minutes

Was very surprised to see Jacin Sinclair in this 60 minutes story last night:

It's a very sad story. Why anyone would feel the need to bother a man who had long since retired from the game is baffling. These low lifes need to be charged and held accountable for their actions.
 
Thanks for that Skywalka..Gifted player enjoyed watching him play, remember first seeing Jascin playing front row for police boys many many years ago ….tragic story.
 
I didn't see the story on 60 minutes but I did see his Dad come out & speak about it the other day. There was a good story on Sunday Night (channel 7) 2 weeks ago about bullying that I would recommend every parent watch by going to their website or seeing if it's on YouTube. It scared the bejesus out of me & made both me & the wife realize it's something we need to be aware of once they start going to school.

I find it interesting that on another thread everyone was criticising Dawson heaps for being hospitalised due to cyber bullying, yet there is much sympathy on here for Sinclair. Both cases are atrocious, something needs to be done about this and soon before we end up like the US.

Maybe because Dawson wasn't above saying some ordinary and catty things in the public eye? If you bring out your worst in the view of the public, of course you're going to be a target.

Possibly, Cb. Tbh, I don't even know who she is, but I presume she's some sort of reality TV judge and everyone knows that these people just say outrageous things to get publicity and ratings - that started years ago with Red Symonds! It still doesn't make cyber bullying any less real for her than it was for Jason.
 
Very sad story but for strangers to have these effects on you, you have either been closer to the strangers at one stage or already been in a fragile state of mind. Leave the facebook site, unfriend the person, report them, ditto with twitter and Dawson, turn the computer off, walk away, block them.
 
If the family wanted people to know the ins and outs of Jacin's death, they would have said so by now. Being honest, it's been a while since Jacin passed and I really dont see any value in continuing this thread. Jacin should be left to rest in peace.
