For all the people claiming Brooks stats were better than Hastings this previous season,it appears Hastings was playing on one leg for some of his games and may be the reason he wasnt as quick as we expected...gallant effort from him though and his footy smarts leadership will be missed...

Plus he was doing his own job as well as half of Lukes in quite a few games.

Seriously????? Did you hear about the Wests Tigers paying LUKE ( NO FINALS) Brooks $1.1 MILLION a season???

(1) Nobody can say for sure what his deal is in 2023
(2) Tigers allegedly paid Brooks less in the first years, so it's not accurate to just consider the final year payment by itself.

Apart from that, scream all you like about retention of Brooks.

I think one of the most disappointing and frustrating things as a supporter is a complete lack of clarity or transparency in decision making. All we receive are hollow blanket statements….

I thought they were pretty transparent? They want to shake up the roster because of the wooden spoon, and they want a strong forward pack, so trading Hastings was the way to do it.

Also it leaked to the media a large pay upgrade for Jacko.

I really don't know what else you expect, for Tigers to open up their books? Post pay packets online?

It also states Hastings might not have even been offered a contract post next season because they don't like him.

Imho the worst announcement probably is still to come,the signature of Bateman which will cost the club about 1 mill even if it is a little less on the cap.Klemmer i can live with
